In All seriousness IF this Hall of fame thing is real, it should actually include pioneers of the hobby for the past few decades. That list should 100% include Don West, Mr. Mint, Dr James Beckett and people during the 80s and 90s that created new ground breaking things for cards or suppplies etc. It should NOT include any breakers EXCEPT the 1st ones to start it all. The ones that i remember honestly being the 1st card breaks was Chris at Cards Infinity & Chad at Firehand cards. Which are both still in business til this day and some of the best around.

Really common to see people buy a card for much higher in auction compared to buy it now. Most of the time I have seen it, it was usually shill bid up way past its actual value. Careful when you go in on auctions for consignments. It’s happened to me… you can see it in the he bid history when you see the percent the bidder had bid on items with that seller were over 80%.

I made good money selling singles on what not. Live selling is super legit. Especially when you have one guy buying all ur singles easier to ship.

@@SportsCardShow just saying. It’s so easy to sell a bunch of cards you have sitting in a box you thought you never were going to sell. Had 96 orders and made 300 bucks on a two hour stream. Also made 150 on top of that cause of a promotion what not is running where they match ur first 150$. I would say 40 orders were just one guy and 30 were some other dude. Only had to ship off 7 packages. So a lot easier to sell and ship than listing individually on eBay. Cause you don’t even need to list the card on what not. Just make a dollars singles listing and keep going to the next card after every 15 second auction. You won’t be disappointed if you were to try. However I understand what not is controversial for the scumminess that goes on with breakers.

@@SportsCardShow honestly it was just a bunch of vet parralels/ rookie base and inserts and stuff I knew would be hard moves from wax I opened. Like selling stuff I had collecting dust so it’s hard to put a number on it. Most were cards I even forgot I had. The thing with what not selling is it’s real dynamic so you have figure out when to sell certain cards by interacting with the room and getting a vibe of who’s bidding on what. So my strategy here now is going to be buying some modern lots on eBay. Like those that have 300 + and trying to get them for like 10 cents a card at least. I bought a 600 modern card lot for 35 dollars yesterday. Theirs gotta be atleast enough singles there to make ur money back on what not. I couldn’t believe the stuff people were buying. But the time you make back from not having to list cards and waiting for people to buy or to see if theirs any interest is well worth it imo. When someone wasn’t bidding on a card I would just throw another on top and it would sell.
