So beautifully explained indeed the message of Karma Yoga. The same is written in Chapter 2, shalok 47/48 but wasn't that clear. Some saint truly remarked, "Human life is beset with sorrow until we know how to tune in with the Divine Will. " Seek Mother's blessings. A request to include a few minutes of guided meditation in each video can really be beneficial. 🙏🙏

Is there a specific English translation of Bhagavad Gita that you recommend? I enjoy the Sir Edwin Arnold poetic version, but also read the Gita Press translation. What are you opinions of Srila Prabhupada's translation, and specifically, ISKON 's interpretation of Bhagavad Gita?
@chewstan2 жыл бұрын
Though I read ‘Bagavad Gita as it is’ by Prabhupad, I do not stick to that book alone. I’ve read commentary by various masters including, Paramahamsa Yogananda, Mahatma Gandhi and Sir Dr. Radhakrishnan, the former president of India.

Try the commentary by Swami Ranganathanand of Ram Krishna Mission.

@@anjorawareness3151 Hello Anjor! Please if you really want to read Bhagwad Geeta with right and proper translations try Geeta Press or Adi Shankaracharya's Geeta Bhashya available in Geeta press. I don't think you should go for ISKCON because there are some shlokas that are not translated properly and their original meaning are not shown . Thank you 🙏

It really seems to me that the first point to drive home is that the Real Self is not the Body. Why not? The body has no life of its own. It only comes alive when the first breath is taken. It dies quickly if we stop breathing...it must have prana constantly.

why is necessarily wasting everything.. after death there is no life.. there is no heaven for good people and there is no hell for bad people. both are existing on earth only... God is an existing entity, he has no care or concern about any being. because every thing is arranged for existence to deliver heat energy from body, which is required to maintain the whole universal system.. so live in present tense.. living for future tense is foolishnees. human being born on heaven (earth planet )
I like your english. Your motivational speech but that book not given right equality to the people

Tell us Madam whether Yogi Adityanath has read Gita or not ? He claims he has & if that be so your all statements have hardly any use, I believe. A Great liar is found also says read Bhagwat Gita. In the event of such, advise please whether reading Gita is at all effective to any one. No intention to undermine your statements, but I am totally confused. Regards......
@ushapareek58872 жыл бұрын
I read bhagwat geeta, its a great magical book. I got all the answers of my confusion s, for me, it was like, i m arjuna nd asking questions to krishna nd he himself replied, all my personal confusions clear nd that magic i experienced,
@pb88572 жыл бұрын
Don't try to put mutually exclusive arguments to settle into a logic. Your aversion to Yogi Adityanath, and the utility of Gita are not at all related. It is your binary mindset that is causing your confusion, which makes you think that life is either 0 or 1. That means if Yogi Adityanath is a liar, then whatever he does (including his reading of Gita, if factual) is wrong. Sorry the universe doesn't function in that kind of binaries and you'll see many dreaded terrorists having good qualities like being very qualified. So my end point is, read Gita if *you* think that it is good, and not because some holy or sinful people or any Tom Dick or Harry have read it or not. After all, should engineering aspirants shed their goal just because one Osama Bin Laden pursued a career in Engineering?
