Required ingredients
Idly rice / Salem rice - 3 glass full ( 3 CUP )
Urad dal - 1 glass full ( 1 CUP )
Flake rice - 1/2 glass ( 1/2 CUP )
Sabudana - 1/4 glass ( 1/4 CUP )
Fenugreek seeds - 1 tsp
Cooking Oil - 1 tbsp
Cooking soda Little ( Pinch Of )
Salt to taste ( 1 1/2 tbsp )
Step 1
wash rice , urad dal 2 - 3 times
flake rice , sabudana wash once
Step 2
in a bowl add washed rice , sabudana , urad dal and flake rice and fenugreek seeds
add water to fill the bowl and soak it for 4-5 hours.
Step 3
after 4-5 hours grind in a mixer jar or a grinder
add water frequently
follow method shown in the video for preparing perfect batter with perfect consistency.
Step 4
now add the batter to a vessel and add salt to it and mix well with hand and now close this vessel and rest it for 8 hours.
Step 5
after 8 hours add a pinch of cooking soda and beat well with a big spoon.
mix well until the bubbles reduce.
Step 6
now add water to idly cooker and keep it to boil.
Step 7
grease idly plate with oil and pour batter almost 3/4 part of the plate.
Step 8
keep the plates in idly cooker and steam cook for 10 minutes on medium flame.
Step 9
now soft , fluffy , white and spongy BIDADI PLATE IDLY is ready.
