Why haven’t we been able to make the progress we hoped for when it comes to gender equality in the 21st century? According to Elizabeth, it’s not the media or culture but our actions at home, how we divide household chores and what our kids learn from observing us that is responsible for the dismal progress we’ve made as a society.
Elizabeth McCormick is a decorated former black hawk pilot and sought after motivational speaker. She has received many awards including the Service Medal for her excellence in service and the US Congressional Veteran award. She now travels the world sharing her unique message of the challenges she faced as a Black Hawk Helicopter Pilot and Chief Warrant Officer for the United States Army and uses it to motivate others to live empowered lives.
