I share my tips for getting perfect seam finishes when sewing in a curve. I manipulate my fabric by cutting my pattern piece on the bias and then press it to form the shape I need.

Such great tips! Making a pattern to guide the ironing is a brilliant way to get the desired shape instead of just eye-balling it. And using a smaller presser foot also makes such good sense. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, Elsabe

Great tips! I never had seen the tip about making a template of the shape out of velum and then ironing before installation, brilliant! Patience really will pay off as well to make a 'puckerless' finish.

These are great tips. I made a decorative front keyhole with self-bias tape that turned out ok, but not great. These tips would have pushed it to great.
