When using watercolors, I found brushing on a diluted(w/water) glue (any white craft glue )will act as a barrier to prevent leak through. You will still need to keep in mine that less water is better but it definitely helps. Just experiment on a small area to start.

So where is the actual 'journaling' part? You just paint all over the Bible to make it look pretty rather than actually read and understand what it's telling you? Oh how Christianity is falling so hard...

This comment is incorrectly assuming a lot. I just simply don’t share my personal journaling pages or how I’m studying on KZbin (this also goes for when I share regular bullet journaling, planner videos, etc. I share the art side as inspiration, but keep the personal details off the internet). But that does not mean that I don’t actually study or apply what I’m reading. However, I do enjoy rewriting Scripture as a way to meditate and reflect on what I’ve studied and read.
