I am so thankful God lead me to this video. All your ideas are brilliant one that stood out is washi tape sample holder! Your are a genius! I love all your ideas. My second favorite is the clear pocket. I would use definitely the washi sample tip. I love how you copy the font by tracing your phone. *PLEASE* do multiple parts to this wonderful helpful video! You sound so sweet. Where is your accent from? You just sound so sweet with it.

This was very helpful, thanks for sharing.❤ Tip: you can also mark your page by colouring a border around the page with paint, coloured pencils, gel crayons or highlighters.

Thanks for sharing, your ideas were very useful. Love the sticky-note and washi tape ideas. I have just started Bible Journaling so have not really developed much hacks as yet. One thing I have noticed is that adding pencil crayons to the page before using transparent stickers really helps the words on the sticker pop off the page. ADEBO

God Bless- I Love the clear pocket idea and I never thought of that although I have been using envelopes from holidays to repurpose them or I also watercolor over the old envelopes, also years ago I would cut out real tiny stickers like from address labels and put those next to a favorite verse. I am new to bible journaling, so allow me to ask how do you actually read the bible pages after you journal and doodle on them? It looks like the paint, tapes, journaling cards etc would block the bible text from being readable? Or is the idea to use a bible as the "background" for your journaling? I love the look of bible journaling, but I want to still be able to read my bible....help!!!

Hi Angie thanks for your comment. We use our bibles to help us meditate on Gods word and have other bibles that we use for reading etc. If you would like to start bible journaling but keep within the margins we’ve got a video on staying inside the margins that might be worth a watch. X

I love Bible journaling but the thought of not being able to read certain scripture because it's covered up really bothers me. So when I'm planning a journal page I make sure my tape or anything that is not see through stays in the margins I do color over the page but I make sure it with colored pencils or watercolors or anything I can still see the text through. The beauty of Bible journaling is it's completely up to you and what your comfortable with.

Yeah that’s what I was just thinking about. When I saw the black hand print all red flags went up. Lol. On the contrary, all the hacks were good except for when I saw that black handprint and all the tape storages.

I flat out refrain from covering the word. But, I still go all in 😊 There are SO many different ways to do it!!!!! It will be, fully and totally up to you & how your bible is made. Interleaved is a GREAT one for us ❤

Great idea! Please be careful your not using the Bible as a coloring book. The Word of God on some of your pages are covered up. I do like how you created beautiful crafts in your margins tho.

Hi Jo, Thanks for your comment. I have several Bibles and I use this particular one as my faith journal. Journaling Bibles are designed specifically for this purpose. In my Bible I write down sermons, words I had from God, prayers, my testimony and so on. My Journaling Bible is more than a colouring book or just art to me, it's the way I found to connect with God, even if I do end up writing on the words as well. For me what really matters is spending quality time with God and get to know Him more. I then use my other Bibles (and the Bible app in my phone) to read and study the word of God.

Some people have different Bibles for different purposes. I.e. one that will highlight a specific scripture and the illustrations cover everything but; some that don't cover any text; some filled with notes, etc. One can use one for study specifically, and another for journaling
