Bible Review: New Revised Standard Version Updated Edition (NRSVUE) by Cambridge part 1

Thank you for your post. I have a general comment related to Cambridge Bibles. In June of 1963 I began training at Great Lakes Naval Training Center just south of Waukegan, Illinois. Within a week or so, I purchased a Cambridge Pitt Minion Bible at a Christian bookstore in Waukegan. Since that day, my Pitt Minion Bible has travelled back with me to Dallas, then to San Diego, cruised with me throughout the Pacific from Adak, Alaska to Midway Island, and south to Guam. After boarding my ship in Guam we patrolled the Marianas Islands, Bonin Islands including Iwo Jima and on to Yokohama, Japan. After returning to Guam, we patrolled the Caroline Islands and south to Rabaul, New Britain, then on to Sydney, Australia, Pago Samoa and back to Pearl Harbor. From Pearl Harbor we left enroute to Subic Bay, Philippines and from Subic Bay, we moved on to the coast of South Vietnam. We cruised from the DMZ of Vietnam then south along the coast south of Saigon, then into the Gulf of Thailand. While in the Gulf of Thailand we sailed to Phu Quoc island just south of Cambodia. After all these years my Pitt Minion bible remains in excellent condition.
