I’m here 4 years later, I’ve been saved since I was 7 but never dove deep into the Bible like I have wanted and should have. I got my first “adult Bible” this weekend and today I started in Matthew. You really made this Bible study interesting and I was actually able to understand everything being taught. I absolutely loved it and I just want to keep reading and reading. So excited to continue this journey. Thank you for this video ❤

Even as a Christian, I have been scared about death and the afterlife for a while now. When i clicked on your video, i just expected to study but the Lord had different plans for me. During your video the Lord touched my heart and brought me peace. May you be blessed and continue to make videos because God is using you to speak to others. Thank you

Here also. My wife and I had a 15 year old daughter who we lost to H1N1 in 2009. Death has been, not so much a fear for myself personally, but a spiritual battle for me personally wondering what our daughter is experiencing right now.

It’s been such a long period of time where I haven’t picked up my bible in such a long time. This morning I felt led to spend time in God’s word but I didn’t know what to read or where to start. After looking for help and guidance I came across this video which led me to open up my bible and come back into God’s presence by reading Matthew with you. Thank you so much for spending the time to read your bible with us and share you’re notes. It feels so good to be reminded that God still speaks! It also feels so good to be reminded that God uses the least qualified to fulfill his purpose. Even when I feel so far gone and distant God is drawn near 🤍

I really love how you do your Bible studies :) your notes are so pretty and this study felt really homely, don’t stop helping others grow their faith ❤️ Also (23:23) those two verses are basically explaining that through Jesus, we’ll be given the Holy Spirit, and the wheat parable refers to him making a place for and separating the children of God (the wheat that’ll be stored in the barn-heaven) and those who are not (the chaff thrown into the fire-hell). Hope this helped, God bless!

So I am a religious person who fell away from the path of God and in my path of redemption I started looking to read through the book that shows me how to get myself right again. You were very helpful throughout this entire video so I thank you so much for that! I know I'm late to your video but to make sense from my perspective and notes for Matthew 3:11, being baptized with Water shows your proof of repentance, Holy Spirit to be forgiven of your sins, however, Fire represents the Judgment to come for those who do not seek baptism of Water and Holy Spirit.

14 is a multiple of 7. That's what my study bible says. "Perhaps Matthew used it because it is a multiple of 7-a number that symbolized completeness. He skipped over some generations in order to achieve this literary order."
@hannahogle34644 жыл бұрын
I'm just confused though...why would he skip generations just to make it fit when that wasn't even what happened? Isn't that just bending the truth?
@littlehearthofjoy4 жыл бұрын
@@hannahogle3464 Matthew edited the list down to make it easy to remember and memorize. The practice of skipping generations at times was common in the listing of ancient genealogies. Matthew did nothing unusual by leaving some generations out. Hope this helps!

A few years ago I made a promise that I would read 1 chapter a day in the Bible. And I’ve kept that promise. I won’t lie...I might have skipped a day here and there but the next day I would make it up and read 2 chapters. Well recently I notice I was reading and not listening to what I am reading (if that makes sense). I came across one of your videos on how to study the Bible. And it got me excited. So today is the first of many chapters I will be studying with you. THANK YOU! I really needed someone to break it down for me so I can understand what I’m reading. Hi gorgeous. Thanks for the bible study. I just wanna add about the baptism; the key thing about baptism (which cannot be forgotten/ignored) is that the Baptism is when the Holy Spirit enters us. And without it we cannot be fully united with God nor enter the Paradise. Its a crucial ritual for all christ-followers. It is supposed to be done only once, cos the unity with God and the effect of the baptism is ever-lasting. Love and Peace

love this vid btw. These were my notes on Matt 3:12 *Chaff is the inedible part of grain produce The winnowing process: - batch of grain is collected using winnowing fork and lifted into the air - because chaff is lighter than the grain, it easily gets blown away it goes to show that God isn't selective on who goes to hell and that we send ourselves there - He doesn't pick and sort through the grain looking for chaff, but we simply fall away if we don't carry any SPIRITUAL WEIGHT. Chaff is useless and simply taking up space. Wheat belongs in the Barn. Chaff gets disposed of.
