I remember reading the book of revelation when I was a teenager, and when I finished reading it I was both terrified and extremely confused (hahaha). Ive been really excited for the bible project to put out the book of Revelation videos. Be carefulr reading books in order they r n the bible...the epistles come AFTER jesus death. And the gospels are during jesus life. Each section have a message for THAT time. If you decide to begin again I found the Immerse Reading system very helpful. Maybe I dare say revolutionary. I've struggled through the years with Genesis - Revelation systems. Hard to remember themes, story line etc. They suggest beginning with New ( 2nd ) Testament. Begins with Luke and groups the books in a different order. Tyndale Publishers. Presume these guys here know them.

I started drinking when I was 16. I would drink at parties, but I also started drinking alone because I was unhappy, and I was in a lot of emotional pain all the time. My mom was very aggressive when I was younger, and my brother hated her and so did I. He started hanging out with shady people, he started failing all his classes, he was never home, and my parents fought all the time. I also ran away several times. I was always trying to figure out a reason as to why I was here or what the purpose of life was. So, I started looking at different philosophies, religions, and beliefs. When I was 18 after I was hungover, I got on my knees and I prayed for the first time. I asked if God was real that he would show me he was real because I couldn’t take it anymore. I was crying when I prayed for this. At that moment I felt a presence come over me like a wind. It was barely noticeable, but it was unlike anything in my life I had experienced up until that point. I was surprised when I felt it and I remember saying “what was that?” after that experience I pretty much forgot what happened and kept partying, until my senior year when I got arrested. After my arrest, my parents lost all their trust in me and I was expelled from high school. I was told never to come back. At that time, I felt afraid and hopeless. That’s when I started looking for God, and I prayed that he would reveal himself in my life and that he would give me signs. My prayers began getting answered so consistently that I couldn’t deny that God was doing something. It was mysterious and compelling. I ended up in Church and started reading the bible hours a day. I stopped hanging out with all my other friends because they were continually getting arrested. I was able to forgive my family and myself and to ask to be forgiven. I noticed how at Church people were judgmental and how they formed cliques but were afraid to be around anyone else different from them. It increased my faith because I realized Jesus was not like that and ever since I was young, I saw people as people regardless of who they were. After a while, it’s like I could see God's presence was in my life and then it felt like he wasn’t, and then he was, and then he wasn’t. One day I woke up and felt more depressed than I ever have in my entire life. I felt like I was dying on the inside. That night I prayed, and I said, God, I don’t see my life five years from now I'm going to die Jesus save me Lord, please save me. I was weeping when I said it and when I asked him to save me, I felt a presence inside of me like a heartbeat, and I felt it once like a pulse, and I said Lord please save me and I felt it again even stronger. It was like radiance. When I woke up the next morning, I had transformed everything felt brand new like I was a kid again. All my fears and all my racing thoughts everything was gone. I looked at my hands, and I said this can’t be real it’s impossible. When I looked at myself in the mirror, I saw a different person. I started praying, and the holy spirit became entirely real to me it was washing over me and inside of me. It was total love and peace, and I heard a voice but not an audible one, it was an inner voice. It said I am with you; I love you, I will never leave you, it’s done it’s finished. That was May 3rd, 2009, and ever since then I’ve followed God, I have seen many things change and many things I know wouldn’t have changed without faith and belief. I know what it’s like to be lost to feel you have no hope. Don’t ever think you’re stuck, or life can’t change because it can. My mom is a Christian now, Its night and day. Some of the things that went away during that period were severe anxiety and my addiction to alcohol. I’ve seen and experienced so many things that are miraculous and seen how God has worked in my life. When we ask God to forgive us for what we’ve done and turn away from our sins and wrongdoings and we believe in Christ's sacrifice everything changes. His word says if we confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that he died and rose again we will have eternal life but not just life after death but abundant life in the present. Our sins are erased not only past, present, and future but our burdens and fears are lifted also. Our thoughts, our minds, our hearts, our souls are transformed and united with God and we know his spirit lives in us. If you seek, pray, and knock you will know JESUS IS KING!!! HE LIVES!

This increased my faith! It is so timely as we look at the changes taking place in our own country and around the world. I was filled with apprehension because before I saw this video, I viewed the events of Revelation as a fearful time of tribulation, death and destruction like the world has never seen before and that the potential fall of the United States is a sign that we are getting closer to those “last days” rather then as part of a cycle of “Babylons” rising and following through out history. AND, we still have an opportunity to repent, do justice and love mercy. Our role as Believers is to imitate Jesus (the lamb) and through our actions win souls for Christ as people see God’s love and mercy reflected in us! There's a lot of doom preaching false prophets preaching online and in churches that should definitely watch this video. We can't predict the end times, jesus told us that, but we have our will to follow and worship God regardless of the persecutions we will face and the earthly dangers our faith will bring upon us and to love our persecutors. My take from this is to live in the way of Jesus and regardless of the state of the world, to not turn to KZbin preachers for answers and for signs of the end, because Jesus said he'll return like a thief in the night, which I think meant none of us will see it coming, but to be prepared, to me that means to repent and live a life of love and kindness, and above all, keep my faith no matter how brutal the consequences. I watched this and many other videos trying to make sense of this scary time we're living in and the way this explains the symbolism in revelation makes a lot more sense than anything else I've seen or read, and there's no hidden agenda behind it. I will share this with others

i am newly saved and i still don’t fully understand everything, especially revelations. last night i felt so fearful, hearing of the end of the times, the rapture and just the fear of going to heaven before i get to have a family here on earth. i prayed last night for God to help me not be scared, to help me see His will and to trust in his completely. and then i find this page today! Well, in fairness it's not, and it takes some pretty fancy high tech explaining to map out here. It could tell us far more plainly that calling ourselves "Republican" or "Democrat" is a trick that asks us to ignore the science that proves the policies of both of these economic powers would collapse any nation as a mathematic certainty. Being able to only vote for collapse is a systemically unempathetic situation and "evil" society that needs protected against in constitution - as FDR explained in 1944, and as Revelation is explaining here as well in a round-about way.

When I first read the book of revelation, I got terrified but now after I finished all the books from genesis to revelation, my eyes where opened and God comforted and assured me (through His word) that there is nothing to be afraid of. Praise God for He is true to His promises. Got excited of what things to come when our King returns. This book is so deep and... dense. Like, sometimes you're afraid of going trough it because you are never sure that your interpretation is 100% right or a 100% wrong. It's just... Complicated. But I liked the video. I attend to a pentecostal church, so we are taught that all these things will be happening while the church is up in heaven, in the Lamb's Wedding.

A final stamp of remembrance that whatever the ages holds for us or the next generation, God is in control and He will prevail and He will give us the strength for us to prevail regardless of how it seems in the physical. I love these videos. Reading the Bible alone can be challenging, especially when trying to understand why certain books were put in the Bible in the first place; what do they have to do with the story of salvation. I love how these series don't address every question. They leave room for ambiguity where there is already disagreement. Instead of dwelling on the details they're getting to the heart of the message.
