3:08 You guys are very wrong, Jesus was not born anywhere near animals or in an animal shelter, the Bible has proof of that. Matthew 2:11 And when they were come into the HOUSE, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh. Luke 2:16 And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger. The only thing that was animal related was the manger. There are people whom actually read and study their Bible. YES very rare but we exist. I still love what you are doing, no one is perfect. God bless.

It’s important to remember that the story of Jesus is one that teaches compassion for the poor. So when you see people living on the edge of society, in tents and in alleyways, panhandling on street corners, struggling with mental illness and addiction, it is so important to be compassionate and not meet them with anger but with love and unders, as you would be to any of your neighbors.

@@mohdfauzan9863 *1.Jesus forgave sins* (Only God can forgive sins) Mark 2:10 But I want you to know that the *Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins."* So he said to the man, Matthew 9:1-8 Jesus stepped into a boat, crossed over and came to his own town. 2 Some men brought to him a paralyzed man, lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the man, *“Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven.”* *2.Jesus was worshipped.* Matthew 2:11 On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and *they bowed down and worshiped him.* John 12:13 They took palm branches and went out to meet him, shouting, “Hosanna![a]” “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Blessed is the king of Israel!” (The word hosanna is a plea for salvation and an expression of adoration. This word used by the crowd is definitely a form of worship) Matthew 14:33 Then those who were in the boat *worshiped him,saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.”* Matthew 28:9 Suddenly Jesus met them. "Greetings," he said. *They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him.* John 20:28 Thomas said to him, *“My Lord and my God!”* In none of these instances do we see Jesus telling those worshiping Him to stop, as did mere men and even angels who were being worshiped wrongly by others (Acts 10:25-26; Revelation 19:9-10). *3.God Himself says Jesus is His Son.* Matthew 3:17 and behold, a voice out of the heavens said, *"This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased* Matthew 17:5 While he was still speaking, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and behold, a voice out of the cloud said, *"This is My beloved Son, with whom I am well-pleased; listen to Him!"* *4.Jesus claimed to be God/Equal with God.* Matthew 16:14-18 But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered, *“You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”* Jesus replied, *“Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven.* John 5:18 For this reason they tried all the more to kill him; not only was he breaking the Sabbath, *but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God.* John 5:58 “Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, *“before Abraham was born, I AM!”* John 10:30-33 *I and the Father are one.”* Again his Jewish opponents picked up stones to stone him, 32 but Jesus said to them, “I have shown you many good works from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?” *“We are not stoning you for any good work,” they replied, “but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God.”* Mark 14:61-62 But he held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, and said unto him, *Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?* *And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.* *5.Jesus had attributes of God.* Jesus claimed omniscience by predicting Peter would denie Him and by predicting His own death and resurrection. Matthew 26:34 Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. Luke 18:31-33 Jesus took the Twelve aside and told them, “We are going up to Jerusalem, and everything that is written by the prophets about the Son of Man will be fulfilled. 32 He will be delivered over to the Gentiles. *They will mock him, insult him and spit on him; 33 they will flog him and kill him. On the third day he will rise again.”* Jesus declared omnipotence by raising Lazarus from the dead. John 11:43-45 When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!” 44 The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face. Jesus professed omnipresence by promising to His disciples He would be with them till the end of the age. Matthew 28:20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely *I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”* I think it's pretty clear now that Jesus is God.

Well, I can see you are teaching theology rather than the Bible, you missed the a lot. Chapters 1 and 2 set up a time line if you understand the temple service which leads to the feast of Tabernacles. The manger is the temporary structure you are required to build during this festival. Manger is the English translation, no animals were in it. The shepherds came to see the messiah because he was wrapped in the same cloth that they wrap the spotless lamb in, that is later to be used for the high priest in a future Passover. The Fathers plan is far better than your simple explanation of the story which leads to “ Keeping Christ in Christmas “ and Easter. These secular Holliday’s change the picture that is presented to us. I pray that one day all our eyes will be opened.

@MVP KARMA not much. Moses is the old man, Jesus is the new man and son of God simultaneously. They both accomplish the task of delivering the righteous out of an oppressed mindset; one is prophesized and the other was given the task of penning the foundation of those prophesies.

Dear Bible project team . Please continue your work . Do not be discouraged. There may be souls whom make themselves insignificant by their criticism . Do not worry. I say you have fruit on the tree . But the race is only starting. In your actions you are well equipped to win the race . The detractors have no fruit on the tree . You give I with little fruit inspiration to believe and more . There are those who give glory to Jesus and your project by offering small corrections. And those who are in error that mean well. You are blessed . And thank you for blessing us with the truth and words of peace in Jesus name . Amen .

A pastor gave me info on the specific shepherds that the angel appeared to after Jesus' birth. They wouldn't have been average shepherds, as those were also outcasts and likely wouldn't have been allowed to come freely into town that evening. They were of the Migdal Edar, "Shepherd's Tower", and took care of the temple flock of sacrificial sheep. They had strict regulations to follow regarding the care of the flock, and had to know the ins and outs of sacrificial law. It was fitting, then, that they were the first to visit the ultimate sacrificial lamb, the final sin offering for the entire world. The simplicity of the message and the beautiful animation of these videos is fantastic, thank you for them

Christmas is a pagen holiday. The Roman god was born (him or his son) on December 25th. It was called “the Holiest day of the year.” The Catholic Church adopted that day and that’s where we get Christmas from. We aren’t supposed to give gifts to each other on Christmas, we should honor Him. The disciples didn’t give gifts to each other when Jesus was born, they gave it to Him. We should always celebrate Jesus’ birth but celebrating it on a pagen holiday isn’t right

The Bible Project I enjoy reading about the birth of Christ especially around Christmas. But I've always wondered why there's a slightly different account of it with each author of the gospel. Can you please explain why?
@kevfoda8 жыл бұрын
stargazer 101 Each story is complimentary to the other. If you add all the stories up you will get one coherent and beautiful story. Four separate people wrote each gospel and each author chose to focus or neglect certain aspects when writing their Gospel. None of the differences are contradictory but instead they reinforce the message. Also is proof that there was no plot to make the Gospels. Because we have four separate eye witnesses telling a very similar story of what happened.

Hi The Bible Project Community! I am a Sunday School teacher in our church and I would like to extend my gratefulness to experience this kind of blessing that you're doing every time you upload a video and explain everything at ease. I found your videos very useful. Thanks for breaking the barrier between the learner and the Bible. You made it easy for us to understand each book, every chapter, terms and definitions and a lot more. I look forward for the time that you can also make videos regarding significant characters in the Bible like Apostle Paul. Thank you, more power and God bless!
