Iniquity is a biblical word that very few people use anymore, and even fewer people know what it means! In this video, we’ll explore the significance of this word in ancient Hebrew, and discover a whole new way to think about our selfish decisions and their consequences.

Who glorified and resurrected Jesus? ACTS 3:13 The God of Abraham and of Isaac and of Jacob, the God of our forefathers, has glorified his Servant, Jesus, whom you handed over and disowned before Pilate, even though he had decided to release him. 14 Yes, you disowned that holy and righteous one, and you asked for a man who was a murderer to be given to you, 15 whereas you killed the Chief Agent of life. But God raised him up from the dead, of which fact we are witnesses.

This explains a lot. In Luke 13 where Jesus heals on the Sabbath day the lady who was bent over 18 years and the ruler of the synagogue was indignant about it. It is a very clear object lesson of how bent out of shape the human heart is.

Well and think about a lot of physical deformities and sickness Cerebral palsy can bend and twist Some people who have developmental disabilities also have asymmetrical faces and polio can give stunt the growth on one side of the body I guess that it helps to see it the way they did that crookedness in morality manifested physically If a woman gave birth to a disabled child they could be told it was a consequence of their sin which is why the Pharisees asked Jesus if the blind man sinned or the parents We still do this today

@@pursuingpeas8236 Speaking for myself I spent too many wasted moments trying to figure out what I had done wrong to deserve the brokenness I had and how to fix it apart from doing what I knew Jesus was asking me to do. Doing so was a folly that was quite like this word Avon that is being described here; I was trapped in a seriously evil loop of circular thinking. The kind ascribed to insanity or a computer virus. It wasn't until I forgave, a thing I was loath to do and made all kinds of excuses to avoid, that my thinking changed. This evil was lifted off for good! If they have done a video of the word repentance then it is especially significant to this story in Luke 13. Repentance is a change of thought. At the beginning of Luke 13 there are two tragic events one henious and one merely an accident and in both cases Jesus says, "unless you repent you will all likewise perish" In my case it was a simple act of obedience. I didn't even know if it would work or do anything and quite frankly I was sick of myself, and decided to just do it. Grains of faith the size of a mustard seed is no different than changing one thought towards God and taking a small act of obedience. Oddly enough the moment of my self hate came in a time of serious turmoil, and yet after I forgave, after 30 years or torturing myself, I felt the most satisfied I can ever remember feeling. The turmoil hadn't ended but the sorrows had.

There is a little more to iniquity than this video describes. The mystery of iniquity in 2 Thessalonians 2, iniquity yields the Greek "anomia", which is defined in the Oxford dictionary as _a form of aphasia in which the patient is unable to recall the names of everyday objects._ Secondly, if we seek out the initial instance of the original sin, that initial sin takes place in Heaven, not just in Eden with Adam and Eve, but during the Day the Original Angel, Lucifer was created by G_d. This is found in Ezekiel 28:15, _You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, Till iniquity was found in you._ The consensus is that Lucifer exalting himself over G_d was his initial original sin, but it started before that. Iniquity was manifest in Lucifer the moment G_d said He would make Man in His image, but the Angels of Heaven will bow down before Man. This is where you find that Angels serve Man through ministering Angels. Let that soak into your imagination for a moment. The tradition was that the second-born is subordinate to the first-born, yet G_d set Man above the Angels. How can this be so? Man, the second-born, then, has authority over the first-born, the Angels. Logically, it's backwards. But G_d didn't create this iniquity in Lucifer. Lucifer made this iniquity out of his own rigid, logical thinking. He could not accept G_d's Word over his own knowledge, so Lucifer made iniquity, which resulted in G_d becoming subordinate to himself in his own mind. Iniquity has its own function because it is not just a verb, but a noun. **Iniquity:** The inverse, reverse, perversion, or subversion of the original intended use, the purpose of anything, material and spiritual, which results in the _absence_ of the original intended outcome from its use. ie, if you take Good and Evil and say "Good is good" and "Evil is evil", then invert them by saying "Good is evil" and "Evil is good", what you have done is taken Lawfulness and made it into Lawlessness. Now, the truth can be exchanged for a lie, and lies can be believed as the truth. Right becomes Left, Left becomes Right. Up becomes Down, and Down becomes Up. But what happens in a mind where you have both the true definition and the false definition? If both are true and false at the same time, then nothing is true and nothing is false. Everything is permissible without consequence. Lawlessness. Do you see how the use of iniquity makes all kinds of evil? That is because iniquity itself is evil, so it begets itself in all its works. The Katechon is the spirit which restrains iniquity, and is seen in the purpose of the conscience of Man as well as the government's purpose. However, it is the individual, the greatest minority, who is the One whom restrains iniquity at its source; for what is government without Man? When one person ceases to restrain their own iniquity, iniquity spills forth, causing more of the Katechon to be removed, and at other times, put in-place. The Abomination of Desolation has all the image and talking points of the Katechon, put in place where the Katechon should be, but rather than restraining iniquity as the Katechon would, The Abomination of Desolation rewards those who do evil and punishes those who do good. We see this in killer cults and governments that have become tyrannical. When too much iniquity becomes restrained by the Katechon, the Evil One infuriates those who align themselves with the Abomination of Desolation, with iniquity, playing devil's advocate, and finding themselves backed into a corner by the virtuous actions of others. But the truth is that they find themselves backed into a corner of their own making. As Sun Tzu says in his book, _The Art of War,_ "If you back your enemy into a corner then you give him no other option but to win or die. Men who have nothing to lose fight harder than those who have other options." Thus you can understand the following passage from Revelation 12:12, "Therefore, rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil has come down to you in great wrath, because he knows that his time is short!” Circling back to the "mystery" in _mystery of iniquity_ in 2 Thessalonians 2, when you have exchanged truths for lies so many times, eventually the Truth fades into a an elusive mystery. That is the purpose of the mystery of iniquity: to murder the Truth. To murder the truth of the original intended purpose of iniquity is to murder the Truth through mindless, repetitious attrition. That is what iniquity does, in subtle, microscopic ways. Hear no Truth. See no Truth. Speak no Truth. Out of sight. Out of mind. 100% censorship. Read the Holy Bible. Seek the truth and you will find it. Ask and you will receive.

Good question! Maybe verse 4? “…trouble while laying in bed. He sets himself in a way thats not good” (forgive this translation). I’m thinking that’s the metaphor but I’m only an amateur so take it as a thought. Edit: Also, there is a huge difference in translations of Psalm 36. It’s actually mind blowing at how different this chapter is depending on your bible. The scripture I mentioned is from the English standard version.
