Evolution happens over a long time because each evolutionary trait gave that animal an advantage over others to be able to reproduce to pass it down over time. Genetic defects often will not get passed down because the likelihood of surviving are much lower. Example: Giraffes need long necks to eat the leaves from tall trees right? Let's say the giraffe needs to be at least 10 ft tall to reach the bottom leaves so that it can eat. If a genetic defect were to happen during birth to cause a giraffe to be only 5ft tall fully grown, it's likelihood of growing old enough to reproduce and pass on it's 5ft trait will decrease. Whereas, a defect that causes a 15ft giraffe can allow it to eat more leaves and be physically dominant over the 10ft so it will be likely to reproduce to pass on its genes. Humans are born with many genetic defects. Extra thumbs, short legs, poor teeth structure, bad eyesight, but since we are a community species we can protect each other and adapt our environment to serve US. If you apply this logic to all plant and animal species and spread that out over millions and billions of years, the evolutionary idea is very realistic. Look at the similar bone structures in all mammals. Whales have tiny leg bones. Humans have tail bones. Dolphins have hand-like bone structures. This sounds crazy but with this evidence, it proves that evolution is not impossible.

there is an order for dino kinds fossils in specific layers. For example you won't find demitrodon in Jurassic-Cretaceous layers. And this is consistent for most dino kinds. In case of flood you would expect to have fossils arranged without any order. The very idea that Dinos lived in times of civilized humans is so absurd and come from need to literally take something that was not intended to be taken literally. Why do you take literally days of patriarch lives,days of creation and do not take literally that God opened windows of heaven to start a flood? Ancient ppl belived that heaven had windows for rain,snow etc. You really do not need to belive in alternative pseudoscientific world view to be a good christian. CS Lewis belived in evolution and you certainly would not call him bad christian.

Meat is so soft it doesn't need to be chewed like roots, nuts, and other parts of plants, just ripped into small pieces and chewed with sharp teeth, just like fruit. After the flood, Noah was commanded to eat meat like any other produce. This means that the fruit of the Earth is not as bountiful and nutritious as before the flood and fall.
