All you will feel is genuine happiness. Whether you get to see these angels or not is uncertain, but if you do, you won't think anything of it. They'll be just like good neighbors.

I remember the first time I heard about the different angels. It was mind blowing, as I've grown up religious, but had never heard of seraphim or ophanim. And when I heard of their impossible beauty, I was struck with beautiful terror as I imagined what it might be like to encounter such a thing. The thought and imagery of my human self being gazed upon by an immaculate existence, its wisdom beyond what I could know. It would see straight into my soul, aware of every sin I've committed, every doubt of God, every perversion of man. The first time I thought about this, I cried. The bible describes them with eyes, but these renders are human eyes, worldly eyes. We have no clue what heavenly eyes look like (Just like we have no clue what our heavenly bodies will look like). So it's impossible to depict what exactly these angels will look like. All we know is that they MUST be amazingly beautiful. I heard from my friend that someone said "they might not actually have eyes everywhere like the bible said, it could be a metaphor to show that they can perceive things or see things we cant" so maybe they dont actually have eyes all around, maybe just metaphorically either way, all we have are dramatic representations of angels, and well only see them once we pass on. Ngl though, these are genuinely terrifying, but my mom told me angels and god will be perceived in heaven as you want them to be perceived as. In other words, if you want to see the "normal" versions of angels, i.e. the humans with bird like wings that are white as snow and the babies with wings too, then you'll see it in your point of view. It makes so much sense now on why these beings always said "don't be afraid" when coming into contact with humanity. I mean, if a bright, gorgeous being that was basically just a very pretty human with wings approached you, would you be afraid? Ideally, no. But these? Yeah, I can see why they have "fear not" as their catchphrase. These true angels are so abstract. They're a perfect combination between super scary and super beautiful and comforting. Now, if these true angels are so abstract looking, imagine what God himself would look like. Obviously not like a generic old man. Because he's immortal and true perfection incarnate, and those two things have no age. He can definitely take on multiple forms, but what about his true form? I've always wondered that.

@@lucamaddalena5854there's no way for us to know what angels look like unless we go to heaven. of course the animations cannot be absolutely accurate, they're just other peoples' interpretations of the descriptions written in the book of Ezekiel. you should go read it and then come back and try to tell us what's wrong with them. angels dont look like God; God is the Divine Creator and any human who sees God in all his glory will immediately die. God will always look far more glorious and terrifying than any of his creations.

A cherubim has 4 wings, the lion and ox are supposed to be inverted, and they aren't white as feathers. The cherubim and the "color of burning coals" They're literally bright coloured beings, not this feathery white stuff. Seaphim literally translates to "burning one" they are literally on fire. Ophim are cool though, since the description of them was vague, but since we've been following a burning theme, I'd assume they'd be bright burning creatures as well. To clarify I don't wish for them to be so bright that the viewers can't see the finer details of the animation, but it'd be much better if they were of the correct colour pallet The animation was great however, but a bit more research would've been nice.

This is both from Ezekiel's description of cherubim: "As for the form of their faces, each had the face of a man; all four had the face of a lion on the right and the face of a bull on the left, and all four had the face of an eagle." He is seeing these beings so the angel's left would be the observer's right, etc, so the orientation of the lion and bull are correct. "... wherever the spirit was about to go, they would go, without turning as they went. In the midst of the living beings there was something that looked like burning coals of fire, like torches darting back and forth among the living beings. The fire was bright, and lightning was flashing from the fire. And the living beings ran to and fro like bolts of lightning." This is likely detailing how they move, they literally look like lightning when moving. Seraphim means the burning ones, but it could have meant the angel has a burning passion for praising god, since they are the closest to the throne of god and all they do is sing god's praises with a lot of "burning passion"
