I'm surprised you don't have any comments! Your discrete math series is saving me. My professor is the lowest rated prof. at my university. Super nice guy, but I'm forced to take his class. Without your series I'd have a hell of a time passing this course. Thank you

Brilliant work, especially as a supplement to a textbook 'Essential discreet mathematics for computer science'. The content in the book gets hairy at times and going through your vids rekindles the knowledge and establishes the much-needed connectivity. Cheers from Moscow, Russia!

To take your statement "I will pass the test if and only if I study hard", if you study hard and go for a walk, it would seem that you would not have passed the test. I know that your statement means that you can not pass the test if you do not study hard, it would seem that "iff" just has an additional unintentional literal meaning.

We can think of the difference between conditional and biconditional as follows. "If I study hard, then I will pass the exam" means "If I list the possible reasons for passing the exam, "studying hard" is 100% included in that list. This is not the only reason, but it is one reason." On the other hand, "I will pass the exam if and only if I study hard" means "In the list of possible reasons for passing the exam, there's only one element, and it is "studying hard". There is no other reason."

How about this? “If a person is 5’7” or taller, that person is too old to go trick-or-treating on Halloween.” That is what people say if and only if they also say that Halloween is for “little kids”!

Sir but how do we make sure that there no other condition that implies 'p' I say you that there is a statement x implying 'p' Now there are 2 cases you can either figure out x or you are unable to figure out x If you are unable to figure out x then I can say that your prove is incomplete If you are able to figure out x going by the worst possible scenario that you also prove that x is not implying 'p' but I can say you that there is another statement y implying 'p' now we can repeat this process again and again So, sir you must prove that there is no other statement implying p
