Regi, very well thought out and said! Things that make you go "Hmm". However, with all the groups you mentioned that are now purchasing firearms, one should not have to go "Hmmm". One can take a very well educated guess as to "why". I know one thing they are NOT doing, committing crimes.

Great information as always! Great to see the numbers broken down. *Shocking* to think that people are buying items to protect themselves with movements like defund the police happening /sarcasm Thanks again Regie!

Wow, I thought I was a freakish anomaly, the only comic book collector who was also a gun collector and shooter. Those two things aren't ever supposed to go together. As portrayed in popular culture, comic book enthusiasts are typically depicted as nerdy, dweeby, geeky, usually overweight guys (never girls), who probably also have big collections of action figures and Star Wars memorabilia. Gun enthusiasts are nearly always depicted as (also overweight) rude, crude, coarse, insensitive, unimaginative, uneducated, uncultured, white racist rednecks and hillbillies who never read a book voluntarily (if they can read at all), and like to ride around yelling "Yee-haw!" and spitting tobacco juice out the window of their pickup trucks. At least that's how Stephen King almost invariably depicts them, with the possible exception of Roland Deschain of Gilead, the antihero of his Dark Tower saga, and King (who really hates the right to bear arms a lot) doesn't even seem to like Roland much, and goes out of his way to make him suffer like a b@$+@rd and to show him in the worst possible light. (Sort of the way I don't think Alan Moore ever liked Rorschach, and went far out of his way to make him repulsive, and was shocked and horrified that many readers respected and even loved the creation he had lost control of.) Anyway, Regie, it's my very good honor to meet you and you may call me Dave.

Since you asked about having a conversation there's a game, Cyberpunk 2077, that despite it's fictional setting provides a lot of social commentary, one topic being yes pro 2A but don't be dumb about it. One gun store owner goes off on the stereotypes who ruin it, even throws out a guy from a contest for being foolish with a gun. One on brand piece of commentary is a store, you can use it to buy guns, see it advertised, Budget Arms. They promote themselves on the 2nd Amendment not being just for the rich. Which is an interesting argument, are guns, is the AR-15, priced so that it cannot be readily available for everyone? For the black market it certainly would be, which makes it curious as to how so many use the argument of just buying from the black market were guns banned. Point is, is it a case that there is an effort to keep guns from the poor? If so then the right to arms is being infringed.

Way to break it down Swoldier. I think proper training is key to creating a polite society, 'Nuff Said.
