That said this also highlights the psychology of people who are attracted to the Democrat Party versus those attract the Republican Party. Those people can get behind a criminal because they like most low empathy, people do not react to fear stimuli the way, more emotional and compassionate people do. Johnson was going to lose badly. That's most of the reason he stepped down. The problem with '68 is the democratic establishment made a terrible move in selecting the incumbent VP, Hubert Humphrey, an uninspiring candidate, instead of flipping the script. In the case of Harris the Republicans will continue to attack her on open borders and inflation. A new team of president and vice president would neutralize that argument.
