Our government has no interest in us. The fact that DOCTORS and TEACHERS and other essential social and health workers have to pay tens of thousands in student loans to get over worked and under paid tells you everything you need to know about the US. My partner is an EP tech who does life saving heart procedures with surgeons every day and he had to pay over $80k in student debt working two jobs with 1 day off for several years. Now he is debt free but years behind on retirement savings and Social Security is a joke so now we have to decide between buying a home or saving for retirement because doing both is not possible. And we are FAR better off than the average American...especially those who have children and also need to consider saving for their own children's education. I hope more and more of my countrymen can see that this government system hurts us ALL who aren't in the 1% so that we can come together to effect change domestically and internationally. The average American has more in common with the average Palestinian than not. None of us are free until we are all free.

Imagine speaking at one of these press conferences and trying to justify these sales of weapons, he is clearly uncomfortable, can't look anywhere except down at the lectern and keeps fumbling over his words talking quickly like he is trying to get it over and done with, knowing full well that nobody in the room is convinced that any explanation he gives is plausible 8n the slightest. If there was ever any doubt about the intent of US governments and who they really serve, it is surely a doubt no longer. Only the most brain dead American patriot could possibly believe in their elected officials at this point. No credibility remains and the chance of repairing it would be close to impossible. If you thought they were involved in disgraceful crimes against humanity before then what would say now? Is there even a way to accurately describe the duplicitous nature of governments such as this and what of the politicians who enable these crimes? It's amazing what people will do for money, even when they are exposed on live TV to the whole world they just go about their business as if they fear no consequences.
