Many thank Mister Alexander for bringing these group of great and wonderful painters Who donot hold back any information about mixing colors or the method of drawing (technique) but there Is one problem that these wonderful painters need, which is(increasing the duration of the show/movie) and l cannot forget to thank the film photographer the video... And of course comes at the forefront of these artists, you human and great artist... Thank you very much for your high esteem and for all the artists and to every one Who participated in preparing these Wonderful videos... GOD bless you all... Greeting and appreciation to all of you.... 💐💐💐💕💕💕💕

Just a little FYI. It is/was the time slot allowed by the channel, PBS, 27 minutes, 3 minutes for commercial, that determined how long these shows were. Same with the station that Bob Ross was on. They had just that little bit of time allotted. It's just amazing that these artists were able to finish in that small amount of time.

Thank you for this! Beautiful as always. I'm trying to get a hold of someone at Alexander Art about obtaining membership but no one has yet replied to my email. I just have a couple of questions about membership. Also, with regards to this painting, do you ever just spread the magic white over the entire canvas first or do you just always add it directly to your paint? If so, does it matter and why would someone choose one over the other. I'm game for using both techniques. I'm just trying to learn. Thank you and blessings! Tina
@AAlexanderArt2 жыл бұрын
Tina, I’m sorry we haven’t seen an email from you about membership. Please send a message to dawn@alexanderart.com and she can answer all of your questions. Buck preferred toning his entire canvas with acrylic paint and letting it dry, before he painted with oils. Then he coats the canvas with a thin coat of Magic Clear. If he wants his colors to be bold and not mixed with white, then he wouldn’t add Magic White. The white will change the value of the color. So it depends on what result you are looking for.

@@AAlexanderArt Thank you so much for replying so quickly! You've made my night! I also really appreciate this highly valued information about Buck's technique. So very kind of you! Thank you so much! I'll be emailing dawn soon with my questions! Blessings to you and yours!

I thought that at first, but as i kept watching, i enjoyed his approach because it's different. It starts off chaotic and ends in a painting that's really nice.
