Fun fact: a lot of people never heard that “the easy way” in theaters because that cut to black happened at the end of a reel. Projectionists assumed the scene was over and cut from one reel to the next before the line was said.

Man, Lorraine is an interesting character. She was a headstrong teen who occasionally stole some liquor from her parents, and in the first timeline she ended up an alcoholic housewife who was just as big a pushover or prudish as George was. Then because George grew a pair after Marty altered the timeline, she was very accepting of Marty dating Jennifer. Yet, with George's premature death turned her back into what she was in the original timeline albeit with Biff's...monetary enhancements. She was always so family oriented. (remember she baked a cake in hopes that her brother would get parole) And here she stays with Biff when he tells her that her kids will be cut off and financially ruined if she leaves. This kind of character trait is also seen in Maggie McFly when she scolds Seamus for offing to help who she believes to be a stranger (Marty when he goes back to 1885.) because she think Seamus might "bring a curse upon the family." This is such a great series.

But Maggie McFly is not blood related to Lorraine whatsoever. They just look the same, because that's what the producers probably thought would make it less confusing for the audiences.

There are quite a few very successful people who remain right in the same house they had when they were starting out. There may be a millionaire across the street that doesn't flaunt it too much. Of course for the story to work he has to come back to his own bedroom to wake up. However you don't know when they bought the house. Man, Marty had some serious trauma related to his mum in these films. When he went back in time she got a crush on him, tried to sleep with him and kissed him, then in future she got with his bully.

@user-nv8ds8wf6g4 ай бұрын
From what was shown in the comics, everyone rejoiced when Biff died, so I highly he had good publicity. Maybe a few people in Hill Valley believed in his cause, but the majority hated him for what he did to the town.

I know they wanted to set this entire franchise in “Hill Valley”, but it’s so stupid. Someone like Biff would’ve moved to NYC, Miami, Las Vegas, or Los Angeles. He wouldn’t have bought a court house and built a mega hotel/casino in a relatively small Californian town 😂

@user-nv8ds8wf6g4 ай бұрын
He probably did return to the dystopian 2015. The reason it looks the same is because after Lorraine killed Biff in 1996, she took over the town and fixed it

@@user-nv8ds8wf6gthat isn't how it works If it was like that then Marty Doc and Jennifer wouldn't be in the future since they got all messed up. My guess is in the movies the "ripple effect" didn't catch up to the future so Biff still was able to get to the normal 2015 instead of alt 2015
@user-nv8ds8wf6gАй бұрын
@@jairoiii6571 Also, in the first movie, when Marty returns from 1955, he is immediately in the new timeline where his parents are successful and happy, since we see the broken ledge from the clock tower right away when the scene shifts to 1985 and the mall name as Lone Pine Mall.
