I like how there are so many people on here saying that biffy are still good. Usually theres videos flooded with people saying "Biffy a shite now that they're mainstream." Yes they are mainstream & they are mainstream for a reason. They are a fucking awesome band that people like to listen to. Don't get me wrong, I think a lot of mainstream sucks but obviously they're doing something right. If people don't listen to it then it won't go mainstream. It's good that they've made it this far. end of.

the difference between 4/4 and 8/8 is how you divide up the measures. look up additive meters on wikipedia. for example, if a measure is divided into 5+3 (ONE two three four five ONE two three), it can't be 4/4, you have to call it 8/8. lots of musicians don't know this for some reason

I'm really glad that Biffy have made it big - they totally deserve it. I remember watching them play the little haunts like the civic in Wolverhampton a couple of times etc. etc. etc. and they were always so hardworking. I suppose it's paid off now. That said, I only enjoy their music up to Vertigo of Bliss, but hope they keep going because a lot of my favourite bands from my college days haven't done anything in ages - come back Jetplane Landing!

This song got me into the Biff. All the miserable sods who say they've sold out recently, this is a perfectly accessible, radio friendly pop song. I've always wondered why 57 didn't break them widely also. There's always been a commercial band ready to come out. Good luck to em.

@pajammin15 жыл бұрын
i agree to an extent but i think what these fans are pissed at is the fact that biff stick to what seems like a formula. listen to any new song and you got 'intro quiet loud quiet loud louder outro'. the reason they didnt pick up around this era or 57 as you say is because those two songs weren't the norm of what they were playing. this song isnt hugely consistent with the rest of vertigo, for example. not having a go at all. just explaining.
