I see cooling fans on many motors, although they're usually quite small on new gearless machines. The MX20 machines have a snail blower as soon as their power output is above a certain value. And 24 kW is a lot for a gearless machine.

Danke dir! Und warum findest du, dass man Warenlifte nicht als MRL bauen sollte? Hat ein Warenlift einen grösseren Bedarf für einen MR als ein "normaler" Lift?

@@TheLiftDragon Die meisten (Treibscheiben) MRLs haben eine Motorbefestigung, die nicht wirklich "stabil" ist. Bei den meisten MRLs sitzt der Motor auf den Schienen (bei KONE an den Schienen), was die Schienen natürlich noch zusätzlich belastet.

@@TheLiftDragon Spätestens, wenn die Kabine ganz oben steht und der Aufzug sich nur mit Bremslüftung verfahren lässt, hat man Spaß. Und da macht es für mich einen Unterschied, ob man mehr als 225 oder 1750kg in die oberste Haltestelle tragen darf.

@@felixrwc816 Das stimmt natürlich. In einem totalen Fehlerfall, wenn die Kabiene nur noch durch Gewicht verfahren werden kann, ist man bei einem MRL mit solch hoher Kapazität natürlich ziemlich aufgeschmissen. Aber ich würde mal behaupten, dass gerade bei so solchen zuverlässigen Anlagen wie einer LCE mit Ecodisc, dieser Fall so gut wie gar nicht auftritt. Im Endeffekt wird sich Kone ja schon was dabei gedacht haben.

​@@dl-aufzugsvideos Das stimmt natürlich, die EcoDisc ist hier ja auch an den Schienen der Kabine befestigt. Aber wie bereits in der Videobeschreibung erwähnt, sind diese Schienen hier von bedeutend grösserem Profil als welche, die man sonst so sieht. Es ist halt alles sehr beefy gebaut könnte man sagen, aber das muss es bei einer Anlage mit dieser Kapazität ja auch sein. Ich kenne noch einen 4 Tonnen MRL mit Seil, bei dem ist der Motor jedoch direkt an der Wand befestigt und im Schachtkopf gibt es zwei grosse Rollengerüste, die komplett einbetoniert sind. Dort fliesst also, wie bei einem konventionellen Lift, keine Kraft über die Führungsschienen.

Drive refers to the variable frequency drive which is the component that is used to control the motor speed. It generates AC with a variable frequency - as opposed to the mains frequency which is always constant at 50 or 60 Hz depending on where you live.

@@TechNerdNolan Because there were none. VFDs have only become possible at the point in time when high-power transistors became available, which was at the end of the 80s / beginning of the 90s. That is why VFDs were not possible to manufacture before roundabout 1990.

@@TechNerdNolan They offer more precise control than the thyristor controllers used before, also they are more energy efficient and thyristor controllers only work with pole-change motors while VFDs can work with any motor, therefore no extra slow winding is needed anymore, making the motors cheaper.

Most of the lifts use this kind of motor nowadays I think.

Only lifts from Kone as this type of motor is manufactured by them. Other companies use different MRL solutions.

​@@TheLiftDragonKONE and Toshiba, if my memory serves me correctly. Both Xizi and Ziehl-Abegg have their imitations of the EcoDisc machine, as well.

@@mattmoreira210 Yes, there are many similar machines. ZAdisc is pretty good as Ziehl-Abegg motors are all very quality. Idk about the others.
