I love this channel. It’s truly a crime that you’re not up to half a million subs yet. I don’t think many of my Facebook friends would be interested, but I’m gonna share some of your stuff anyway. I’m a Brit & I spend my days rebuilding vintage engine magnetos, I pride myself in making them look (& function) better than new. But secretly I just love this kinda stuff, you should see my daily driver, it was basically the cheapest thing I could find at short notice, it’s mechanically functional & I know just how far I can push it. I wish I had more space for a project car (or two). Keep up the good work man, & please don’t go all up market when your channel really takes off.

@@jaredfarney675 when I was growing up in the 90s I LOVED Jaaaags! My dad was a mobile mechanic back then & kept telling me they were “overrated” (that’s his eloquent way of saying they’re crap 🤣). Sadly, all the Jaaaags I loved then have rusted away in the British sunshine, so I’ll never know if they were any good. I’ve had a few classic BMWs though & I loved those. It’s a shame that more American cars (Yank Tanks) didn’t make it over here, I’d love something like a mid 70s Camero.

Here we go. 1:03:23 of fun is about to commence... The first laugh is the wrench reinforcement welding. 19mm is actually one of the more useful 'standard' sizes here, along with 15, 13 and 10. The surgeon-like finesse you apply to the floor reshaping procedure has me in awe. Incredible foresight and planning going on. If it works, is it wrong? JD never fails to impress with what he has learned and is learning. His welding is infinitely better than mine has ever been. He is a major player on the channel, with his skillset getting larger with every job he does. He is becoming quite the master, and I am not aware of any other young man with such a willingness to work and learn. Ooooh foreshadowing. I am wondering what the mistake in moving the oil father will be. YOu sure know how to keep an audience captive, Dalton. Aaaaah, that's what it was. Oops. I'm amazed that the rear drum assembly came off. Seeing how crusty it was looking, I assumed you were in for a fight. Was it worry about being able to stop or a haircut? Those tires are an interesting choice, lol. Damn the postage charges to the UK to hell. I'd love to buy merch and give you some support :-( There may be someone on its way to your PO box, though. The way you make things fit and work is crude but clever all at once. I love the way your mind works, and you overcome issues when they arise rather than obsessing about them beforehand and causing yourself stress when it is not needed. Neil Approved. Man, seeing it reverse out of the garage was a brilliant sight to behold. You only went at pulled it off, Dalton. When you were talking about this project, I thought you were mad and that there was no way on earth you could make it happen. I am super impressed that you did it. I wish I was your neighbor. In case you did not see my post on Insta, this is a copy and paste of my ideas for a name for the van; "It looks brilliant. I'm not sure if you're very good or just a Vandal. A couple of name suggestions for it, if I may. It was out for revenge on the other two vans and settled the score, a Vandetta has been fulfilled. Or, it has sucked the life of the other two, making it a Vanpire. Or it was able to Vanquish the other two. Paint it white for the obvious Vanna White. I'll stop now; my head hurts."

This channel and others help me let go of being a perfectionist. Reminds me what can be done on a budget. Doesn't have to be all or nothing. Rather have the rig going down the road while needing improvement than just sitting till it can be done "perfectly". Love this channel!

12:53 tip of the decade for dropping in your distributor and getting it to point at number 1 without having to stick screwdriver down the oil shaft hole. Works on any Chevy based oil pump. Just lift up the distributor until you feel the gear disengage. Turn the rotor back a little bit like one post on the cap. Drop the distributor back down and see if the rotor goes where you want. It may take a few tries but the gear will turn the pump for you so you’ll never have to turn an oil pump with a screwdriver ever again.

Dalton, I really get more of a kick from your garage than the guy that got me into viewing this type of content. You know the guy. Genuine fella with the immaculate shop today. Also he tends to trend around motors. There's another name for 'locking pliers' which is his go to tool that locks and works as pliers do when locked. Edit: Self Tapper scene, dang Dalton. Death Wheel and hand grip sure way to alter some epidermis dude. 2nd Edit: Seriously Dal'un, I would love to get some merch... I even thought about sending to you my unused AC v DC drill that would get to you a day late and a dollar short of usefulness. I am going to do my best to get my Chry 200's idlers & tensioner along with the SB, Rn R'd which has been ef'd up twice now due to bad crap that befalls anyone that is looking to have the third time charm experience. And no more need be said on that, 'cept on a fixed SS & VA combined stipend I'm barely getting by check to check, I love ya brother and feel your thin wallet pain in my vein. Take care, Please know, in my mind you are the master of make do craftmanship par excellance, if that makes any sense. Not to give too much praise here, you make our day any day you send out content... Thanks and you too JD, be well, watch out for your pop, keep an eye on him and make sure the tub of oil is under the rear wheels next time.
