Definitely see a Zelos in my future. Cheers 👍🏻👍🏻 Edit. Agree - Had 2x 6r15 & a 6r35, none were as accurate or as consistent as the 4r35/nh's I've owned.

Thats because they were not regulated properly the ne15 is a good movement better than the nh35 because of the balance and may be the hair spring and the 50hr power reserve but comes at double the price. It is more accurate especially horizontal and vertical deviation. I wouldn't say that one is more reliable than the other cos they're both the same.

Hi, thank you! Seiko has more initial glow but yeah when it comes to longevity I'd say the Zelos is comparable.

you simply cannot say that a watch is overpriced based on just the movement alone , the machine work on the watch case and the crystal as well as the bracelet and clasp all come in to the cost , if rolex ever decided to sell a sub with a seiko nh 35 movement it would still be several thousand pounds because the bracelet and casework cost money to produce

Expensive, too thick and a very basic movement. I have a Sea-gull Ocean Star. Ticks all the boxes especially the 28800bph accurate movement

It's really not expensive it's also the same thickness as your ocean star.

Yes should have the NE15 movement in stead of the cheapo NH35 or may be stick in a nice Miyota. If you compare it to a San Martin with a Selita movement in then yes its expensive, Singapore company taking their cut.
