In this video, for the four year anniversary of the channel and in anticipation of Big Brother Canada 11, I end up doing the largest scaled ranking I have done to this point, and that is ranking every single player in the history of Big Brother Canada.

I understand the rational for a LOT of this list.... BUT. Topaz under Alec and ESPECIALLY Peter hurts me. She was the only one with any brains in that alliance, and continually told them what they correct move was, only for them to dismiss her as "a stupid girl who doesn't get the game they're playing". The BBCAN1 house was RIDICULOUSLY sexist, and it really hurt Topaz in particular

Partially agree. From what we have seen, Sheyld was better positioned and therefore we got to see better aspects of their game, so it makes sense for them to be ranked higher. But if Topaz were to play again, and we had another game of hers to work with, she would probably be ranked higher. Unfortunately, I don't think production really likes her after what happened on finale night 😬

Absolutely. Topaz's infamous vote in the finale gave her such bad press cause anyone familiar with the season and strategy in general would understand that she's actually an above average player with really good natural game sense. Unfortunately she couldn't win a comp and centralize any power around herself, instead having to rely on other players who were either bad or were not seriously invested in her as an equal ally.

My favorite Reality TV reference happened during BBCan6. I was talking about the season with a buddy of mine when it was coming down to the end. I was rooting for Paras and I thought I was pretty clever because I made that Pokemon reference and said "she's evolving into Parasect" >_>, and both of us were watching it bootleg style since neither of us are in Canada but that's beside the point. I thought my Pokemon reference was clever. Then he randomly started calling Will... "Won't" I have never been more humbled.

I think Cassandra is highly underrated in this one. I think any returning player of her caliber is going to have a difficult time, so I don't really fault her for going home early in BBCan5, but the way Cassandra was able to move through the game in BBCan4 and, most importantly, the way she was able to shift the target of herself at the Final 5 shows that she is an insanely good player. Also, if she makes it to the end, she's all but guaranteed to win. The jury was mad respectful of her game and she got out the biggest threat (Jared). If the brothers had been allowed to self-nominate (which I wish they had been), then BBCan4 would have continued WILD.

Amazing work, I love your work. IMO Alec and Peter from season 1 are way too high though. At the very least, they need to be below Topaz, who was constantly trying to spoon feed them Big Brother strategy but they would reject it because they thought she was some girl who didn't understand the game. They made such boneheaded moves in the mid and late game and screwed over themselves and everyone who was trying to work with them. I think Peter has kind of managed to retcon a lot of people's opinions of him due to his presence in the Big Brother community but he was a sersiouy terrible Big Brother player. Otherwise though, this list looks pretty good.

But as an Aussie we treat Tim as such an incredible player in BBCAN cos we had a completely different Big Brother game here at the time when Tim played. Where it was Australia who voted to evict every week and all the housemates did was vote for nominations and why. So Tim was playing essentially a brand new game as we never needed alliances, we never needed to work with people cos if you had personality and were entertaining, Australia would keep you around. An example I think her name was Camilla in an Aussie season, Was saved something like 6 or 7 times in a row cos Australia just loved her and wanted her around more. So we here Absolutely Adore Tim and I thought he did great over there, But also totally understand in the grand scheme of things how he was good, but no where near as good as your other players

@@jacryptid773 Apparently you forget that Haleena was significantly more socially and strategically integrate in the house during the pre-jury phase of the game. There were days on the feeds where Haleena would have a game or personal conversation with almost everyone in the house. Not to mention that information that Haleena was feeding Kevin helped him get a better footing in the game. Most notably, telling Kevin about the Mandems alliance is the main piece of info he used to stay off the block week 2. Haleena's social game alone probably gets her to the jury phase on most BBCAN seasons.

Yeah, I was really surprised when he mentioned Kevin was a "pretty good player," like this is the top 9 of a 150 list, "pretty good" doesn't cut it. To be fair, I respect his opinion and also his point that Kevin is a unicorn hit the nail on the head. We talk about all the time that Big Brother comps continue to follow the same pattern, the same type of comp. To study these comps and rely on them solely is flawed as a winner's path, but for a player's general ability, it shows that he can reliably make it to the end in any given season with these same patters. Why not rank high the player who can make it that far every time he plays. At that point, you get into loop argument over what's fair and not fair.

Kevin Martin didn’t “break the game” he was up against Karen Demetres Dillon and ika in almost all mental comps and had a horrid social game so he just spent all his time studying?? You also failed to mention all his horrible missteps and being saved by a twist

I would personally would have sarah, ty and kevin martin a bit higher and paras and anthony a bit low even though anthony is probably up there now after this past season but pretty good list other than that!
