I just love Shane/Courtney he comes across so normal and very calm and down to earth he's just an amazing representation for the LGBT community and all the drag queens out there I love Australians so much and him and Andrew are literally friendship goals their so genuine and cute together and Andrew is really handsome
@spreadlove86246 жыл бұрын
He just proved why he's the winner once again. Some people may argue that they like Ann for her personality, but in this time and age we need more than a personality. We need intelligence, empathy, acceptance, respect and empowerment, which is something Ann lacks as a person, besides intelligence put to wrong use.

Jacinda Lacroix the show he was on was big brother Big brother is a judge of personality that’s literally the point of the show
@spreadlove86246 жыл бұрын
Aki Ahuaea Well human has evolved. People used to only focus on the personalities, which is shallow, now people want a winner with substance with something to offer. Big brother also knew that, that's why the housemates this year are more intellectual instead of mostly party animals. I'm surprised you didn't realise that.

Jacinda Lacroix you don’t befriend someone for calling themselves gay you befriend someone based on their personality If you don’t click with someone you don’t click, regardless of what social movement label they attach to themselves

Jake Alonson Someone being gay doesn't affect another person at all. But someone who voted against every LGBT legislations affect the whole LGBT community and their family and friends. Simply put if someone strongly believe rape is ok, are you still going to be friend with them?

all this straight people saying hes shoving his ideas to people.... what you dont understand is ann doesnt need to do that because most her views are the views of many. whilst views leaning towards acceptance of lgbtq is not. so sometimes shoving ones idea is a good idea if the person you are talking to is not listening.
@drexeldelarosa166 жыл бұрын
Lauren Aroha shane j winning cbb definitely showed that fact. All im saying is these straight people saying he's forcing his ideas to someone definitely didnt had the moment in their lives that they were not heard. especially those two guest guys on the bit on the side before the finale.

Anyone who isn’t part of a minority will never understand what’s its like to be part of one, and will ALWAYS think they have a right to make the decisions on whether the behaviours of minorities are right or wrong. People love power - it’s an unconscious, unsaid, unfortunate rule.

RPDR All Stars has swayed so far from being about talent and is now all about sucking up to RuPaul and the producers and is all about giving sensational television and not at all about educating people. Always turn a negative into a positive. In the year BB chose to let a homophobe in.....I came out. It was the Widdecombe " disgusting " comment that sent me into Outing myself! I will never understand why they let someone who wishes nothing but harm to the gay community use BB as a way of spewing their vile message. They wouldn't - and still haven't - invited an extreme racist, nor xenophobe nor muslim extremist on to the show. So why Widdecombe?

Why is Ann a “villain” though? Because she doesn’t agree with the things that he does? She’s entitled to not be in favour of homosexuality, transgenders or transvestites. That’s her right to decide and just because someone disagrees with the majority it doesn’t make her in the wrong. It’s all free speech until you say something the majority disagree with and then they try and censor you or tell you that you’re wrong for your own beliefs.

How big headed People voted for Ann because they appreciated her as a person and a housemate, her political views shouldn’t have any relevance to that Unfortunately the majority of the public couldn’t see past your regressive left views and ways of dealing with things and voted on you purely for that Amanda Barrie is a better role model for lgbt than you because she’s more than just gay, she’s a person with life experiences and stories to tell, all you’ve got to your name is labels like feminism, lgbt, genderqueer ect And to think I kinda liked u at the start of big brother
@Mabeylater2936 жыл бұрын
Wrong. If Ann was a “nice” racist, I would have voted her out just as egearly.
@spreadlove86246 жыл бұрын
Jake Alonson May be personality of Ann is just not enough if she doesn't have substance to back herself up. Being rude and disrespectful is not very welcomed. Also Amanda didn't use this platform to be a spokesperson for LGBT at all, so I'm not sure why you think she's a better spokesperson. The fact that she became friend with Ann means that she doesn't try to learn about the person she's friend with. Also even if they're friends, they can still disagree with each other, which she failed to do so, agreeing with everything Ann said. I love that Courtney went in there with a purpose. Why else would people want to go in the big brother house for a month? People are tired of shallow crap that's why the rating of Big Brother had been dropping. The newer generation crave knowledge and something more meaningful, that's why Big Brother this year has a more intellectual group of people rather than party animals.
@jakealonson81666 жыл бұрын
Jacinda Lacroix why is every gay person obligated to use media to promote gay rights or whatever? Gays have all the rights in the uk we need to normalise being gay now and yelling about it is solving nothing but enforcing a stereotype And yes I liked how the cast was far more intelligent this year so we can agree there
@spreadlove86246 жыл бұрын
Jake Alonson But what you got wrong is that he didn't yell about it. Every time he talked about it was when Ann was being disrespectful by rolling her eyes, calling him and Andrew together disgusting and telling Shane not to dress up as Courtney. He didn't start most of the discussions. Also what's wrong with having a civilised discussion? He's just showing people that it's ok to stand up for yourself in front of suppression. By letting things go, you will never solve the problems. Transgender people still go through torment everyday in different countries. Just look at some videos about transgender on KZbin, the comment section is repulsive. I would be the only person out of thousands of messages defending transgender people while educating them with facts, they would say devilish things but I will not back down to nonsense. You don't understand the level of ignorance until you discuss with them for yourself. The more exposure of the LGBT the more it is possible to help a trans or gay person. It's still a stigma in many societies. I'm happy that Shane J educated the nation and hopefully international viewers online can learn something too and have a more open mind. I absolutely love what he did for the show. Loving a person simply base on their personality is so 10 years ago.
@jakealonson81666 жыл бұрын
Jacinda Lacroix but exposure isn’t people whinging about it in celebrity big brother, it’s just gay and trans people being normal people and decontructing the stereotype about gay people without shoving it down your throat. All Shane jenek did in that house was talk about lgbt stuff to the point where I don’t think his intent was to raise awareness of issues. He orchestrated a witch hunt against Ann for not agreeing with him and when it backfired everyone said he was getting bullied lmao I don’t think his intent is pure and even if it was the way he’s gong about it is only detrimental to this community And like big brother is a judge of character so it’s totally relevant. Someone shouldn’t win for being gay or yelling about it. It was noble 30 years ago when gay people didn’t have basic rights but now it’s just pandering to the left
