Back in the 1990'as, I was in the National Guard, and we spent two summers at Tobyhanna for retraining. On my off time, I went to that crossing and explored. In the woods, across from the tower I found the old trash dump. I dug up the old train order semaphores, some very rusted metal oil cans with DL&W stampings, and lots of antique bottles to include bottles for the acid used on the telegraph systems.

I think CSX, UP and CN were the only grain cars not represented on this train. That bolted track is in great shape. Barely a wiggle from those cars.
