Another Outstanding Production Big KevMac! It was a nice touch incorporating the O.G. Cutes interview with recollections being given by O.G. Big Cat. True History being preserved right here. People who aren't familiar with L.A. may not really understand how what he's describing impacted generations. Amazing stuff here bruh!

“When the homies left St Andrews Park it was on” Dropped the mic to finish out part 3!!! Another gem of course. Putting these pieces to the puzzle is hard because of different recollections from these originals from decades ago but that’s part of the reason it’s entertaining and educating. When Big Cat couldn’t recall Darrell Oates name it was super real in the sense that, here’s a real one damn near on the front line since day one and that

1979! Most influential year in Crip History! Tyrone gets shot. ETG and 60's started a war. Big Tookie caught a case and never saw the streets again! Big Cutes is a Gang Encyclopedia all of his history is always on point! Cutes said from 1974-1979 Crips took Centinela Park! Big Cat said the same thing. By 1979 Crips lost Centinela Park because when the feud started with the ETG and 60's it separated a Solid Crip Army and allowed the Bloods to take control of Centinela Park! Bug Cat is also right when he mentioned that Bug Skull had a spot on 10th Ave. Because Big Skull told me that out of his own mouth Facts! I strongly believe if Tookie wouldn't have gotten arrested in 1979 that he would have been able to stop the war from happening! Never forget 1979!

My Salams to Bigg Catt... Allah as my witness I used to live on 67th Street right across the street from Centinela Park, and seeing the R 60s have meetings at the park. It looked like 3 or 4 hundred mofos including females. It was so many that they filled up the concert area and were still lines of mofo coming in the bacc side on 68st. Piggs were there making arrest and mofos were still mobbing in. That imagery has been in my head since like 1981 or 1982

Inglewood Families battled with the Rollin 60s and the 8 Trey Gangstas at the same time plus they were getting to it, there's no Los Angeles without the gang culture as perverse as it may seem, the Mexican gangs were doing it first and their influence on the street, prison and fashion of style should also be addressed, L.A was always Los Angeles but it became real during these times.

@@joemosely9383 i agree in the 70's the Brims was a super power in the bangin community. And they have never been quite the same but that wasn't my point. My point was in the 80's and early to mid 90's they was still a factor and a major threat to the Rollin 60s. Big Sonny who was killed i believe in 87. Was one of the coldest killers not only from Brims but the Blood card has ever had. When he was killed by the R60 he was shot like 25 or 30 times. He was at the time Rolling 60s Public Enemy Number One. I know of at least 4 hot ones he responsible for. Also the Brimalets was the first Damu homegirls to put in work in a major way I won't say they names but Big Sonny sister is one of them and believe me when i say she put in more work then 99% of niggas who bang! Lil Sonny after his bro was killed made it his life work to only focus on R60's. After Gangster Brown was killed on the Western bus allegedly by Chico from Rollin 60s. Lil Sonny got arrested for killing three Rollin 60s about a week later in 1994. I was in the Blood module with Lil Sonny i know how him and Chico beat there case. While in Corcoran level 3 C yard he ran his mouth told all who would listen what he did even told the R60 what he did. Lil Sleep Baby Devil a couple others.Him running his mouth is what put him on death row for that case. Im saying all this to say the Brims had some factors and others may think it may have been VNG's or IF Or CPF NHP but the Brims was still pushing. I will say this. After Big Sonny was killed they was never quite the same he was they heart and soul. And another major set back was they YG's got hooked on water real bad. They wasn't able to war right. Was getting caught slipping way to often. Again this isn't no disrespect to any R60 just setting the record straight. And nothing I'm saying will get anyone convicted so please miss me with that you snitching BS.

Centinela Park is in Inglewood, lol. But like Cat and Cutes said it wasn’t easy. And it wasn’t just 60s. Think about history and you’ll figure out how and why the Park was no longer worth kicking it at or fighting for. Tookie, Raymond, Cutes, Stag, Cat, Mumpy, GC, etc fell in 79. The 83 vs 60 war. Hoover’s was already fighting UG and 111, the Crips began to split into NH and GC. CPF became established. So it’s all in the perception of the person weighing in on it.
