Yep, ive been saying the same. It wont be real AI until the system starts writing its own code. The AI now will only operate based on the code humans have programmed it to do. What will happen is if the AI messes up the Government will say well it was the AI nothing to do with us. Its being used to remove any accountability so they cant be blamed.

The conference I attended over a year ago had speakers from Oxford University, Google, Tony Blair’s organisation and other corporations investing in AI. They already spoke about AI used in the NHS for diagnostic feedback. I asked many questions and the Oxford professor/doctor admitted that AI is crude and makes many mistakes. I was absolutely baffled and angry!

Do people realise the power of the technology, if a tesla drives past you the cars cameras have facial recognition so can log you and sell that information. If you are walking near a tesla the cameras and radar can capture your unique biometric gait and log your presence. Tesla is not primarily a car company but a data gathering organisation. The data collected is more valuable than the profit from the vehicle sale.
