When it comes to the gearing part, there is one important thing to mention: The 2 428 items you can get per week via dreamsourge and time rift weekly can be upgradet to ilvl 450 and then transformed into 450 tier sets, which you will likely wear quite a while. Its important to first upgrade and then transform tho, as adventurer track is cheap and easy, once transformed its not.

​​@@cwhit2575that's not a bug, you have to upgrade it to 450 first then make it tier. Its not your fault though, blizzard sucks at telling it's players what is available to them. Every season I'm afraid to spend any currency at the start because I just know a week or two later people will have figured out the best way to use it all.

It's a small thing, but I do wish they added an Emerald Dream portal to the Dreamway for druids. It just seems like it'd make sense since the Dreamway is actually in the Emerald Dream. It maybe should be a quest to unlock it from the Emerald Dream zone, so that way levelling players don't wander into the Dream and get smashed.

You forgot to mention that the 428 gear can also be taken to the catalyst to be converted to tier. So if you get 2 pieces this week and right after reset your alts can start out going into the new season with 4 piece and make things a bit easier

yeah - I was going to comment the same thing, at this point loads of people are capped on whelpling and drake crests so we see those rewards fall on the floor repeatedly - I agree with their tactic of capping but feel that the cap should have been a little higher to allow more people to get characters to somewhere around the 450 point going into week 2.

You forgot to mention that gear from dreamsurge and time rift you can easly change it to season 2 tier. Good thing if you still dont have 4-set old of raid or can upgrade it even to 450, as you mostly change tier only until you have 2-set or 4-set of new one.

The dream surge and time rift gear can be converted to tier. Upgrade to max level before catalyzing. Catalyzed gear is not able to be upgraded. 4 piece 450 tier is a nice buff to start season 3

15x Whelpling Dream Crests can be turned into 447 crafted gear, which is a more efficient use of your crests to get gear. Rather than upgrading 1 item to 450 (60x crests) you can instead craft 4 items to 447, giving you a bigger overall upgrade to your character. It will just cost you not an insignificant amount of gold, especially if you have to pay others to craft the items for you, but at most should only be a couple thousand gold per item.

This season majorly borked transmog I was sitting on an entire set of normal gear ready to be upgraded to heroic but wasn't able to grind the crests in time. As soon as the new patch dropped, suddenly I'm not able to upgrade any item in my inventory Worse yet when I do event content and grab gear to upgrade, no matter how high I upgrade it, the creation catalyst only gives the LFR version. I guess Blizz doesn't like giving its players any type of convenience

I got to renown 8 with dream wardens in two days without darkmoon buff, which I didn't think it's even possible on first week, but it's cool to get experience allot so early. Can't wait for next week season to start. Not so happy with the dungeon pool but it's fine, it always feels like no go at start then you see yourself doing +20 matter of weeks.

Balance is the only spec that makes sense, it shares the use of intellect with Resto. Why they want you to be an agility cat as a Resto Druid is beyond me. Guardians are Feral, Resto's are Balance, but here we are not knowing how to make a game since all the original developers left the Dog company blizzard has become.

I think the bonus damage for Balance and Feral skill are just exclusively for leveling and solo play (and having the option between the two) , rather than trying to output a ton of damage. They fucked up Priest Discipline with the last update, they changed Harsh Discipline from charging with Smite to charging with Radiance, it drastically reduced Disc's damage output and ruined burst heals it had potential to make, theres also no a high risk of wasting the Harsh Discipline charges if you use your Penance on a target that is just about to be killed or accidentally cast it on your self.

I mean they also drastically simplified the rotation, and placed CDs onto other CDs meaning you get more GCDs of damage spells in your burst windows. Plus the tier set is also kind of ridiculous for damage, over doubling smite damage during your burst window. And at least for mythic plus, you almost exclusively apply atonement with radiance, so while you definitely have less offensive uptime on harsh discipline, you still get some good value out of it and it’s not too hard to prep one for your burst window. Even with the nerfs I think it’s in a position to do a uniquely high amount of damage as a support making it the pick for pushing high keystones, esp with shadow weaker this patch so you have less PI competition.

prot pala really needs a dps buff. i can in no way keep up with threat of other tanks and on a bossfight i end up at half the threat of other tanks. its absurd and its all because our dps is trash. not only does it not scale but we now lost 2 setbonuses that increased our dps with this patch so our dps will go DOWN... And the front loading rep is trtash for people with more play hours. its not worth farming for 5 rep and franly after 1 hour theres already nothing left do do next week.

I'm not some saudi king that can summon 24 people to play. the class should just be fixed. the fact mobs get more and more health and i dont get any more dps as somehow it doesn't seem to scale with either weapon damage or strength since they made everything holy damage is a huge oversight. my long term single target dps is almost nothing better now then when i was ilvl 359 its just flawed and makes solo content and tanking a living hell. its a constant fight for threat or solo fights take forever.

The best part about the upgraded Dreamsurge rewards is you can earn the dust for the 415 gear while leveling along with some tokens from bosses then by the time you are 70 you should be set with a full set of 415+ gear and whelpling crests and flightstones. The Fyrakk Assaults also had some of their rewards updated as well, at least the piece you get from the weekly chest.
