What do you all think about the John Deere controversy? I know that Avery has said that he does not like John Deere. Is that one of the reasons? I am guessing that you do not have that problem with New Holland.

@@lynwessel2471 I am not sure about the ECU's. Back when I was farming tractors didn't have ECU. They were very easy to work on for repairs.

@josephchildress9651 Not anymore...Farmers can repair mechanical parts. For most farms the main question is whether non- John Deere shops are allowed to access electronics for diagnosis, calibration etc. The few private shops around here have more work than they can get done just doing mechanical repairs.
