My favourite song of Big County the technical perfection of that electric lute or mandolin intro and Mark's 'drum cascade' riff HOW GOOD is that! You were stolen away from us Big Man - miss your and your music every day. Hope you find peace Stu.

A truly incredible song to close out a really lovely album! and probably their most durable record too! Stuart Adamson was an amazing frontman and very gifted guitarist, I always thought he was one of the finest lyricists among his contemporaries, just study those words to " The Sailor", they're actually poetry, most of us never met not knew him but recognized his musicality, no one will ever take your place! Rest well, Stu.

"I never should have said out loud that I wanted to save the world, but I just let it slip away" - The Seer's denouement, in the word according to Stuart Adamson. And then his heart explodes into ten million pieces.

One of My Favorite Big Country's Song I Am BibleBelieving Christian From Rovaniemi, Finland. In Rovaniemi We Can See Aurora Borealis But They Are Quite Seldom Visible In Winters Times Although Video Below Tells That Aurora Borealis Are Visible Here from August Until April. God Bless You All❤❤❤
I forget how much I love this song, then I hear it and my feelings are ambushed and I shed tears

great job with the photo montage. It goes perfectly with the song and gives the song in Stuart's passing even more poignancy. The photo at 4.00 of Stuart staring into the camera looks haunting.

OK, Quiz Question. @ 2.30 bottom right pic. The guy with the glasses standing next to Tony. Could it be the American version of Stuart as a songwriter. The late great Warren Zevon
