There are so many non-dairy and lactose-free cheeses that Hannah could try. Being dairy-free doesn’t mean dull. There is even lactose-fee cow’s milk and ice cream. And of course many dairy-free ice creams as well. All sorbets are dairy-free as well. Dairy-free items are usually refrigerated. I hope you can find these for her.

I make this but I layer in a pan-crumbs, chicken, cheese chicken and then crumbs. Cut into pieces to serve. So much faster and still tasty.

Yes! Violife, miyokos, and kite hill are my favorite vegan cheeses. Daiya and the hemp one I tried are my least favorite. I love SO delicious vegan ice cream, and ben and Jerry's dairy free, but actually used to buy trader Joe's cherry chocolate vegan ice cream when I still ate dairy

With the weather getting warmer I think it would be so fun if you would consider putting up a raised bed in the backyard so your kids can grow and pick some of their own veggies and maybe some fruit like strawberries, raspberries, blueberries etc. And Aaron could grow chillies 🌶, bell peppers 🫑 also fresh herbs and potatoes 🥔 (I think it would really help with them wanting to eat more healthy if they can see it grow, it's so rewarding to see and eat what you've grown yourself)

You can get the lactose free milk and ice cream at fry’s. You can get the lactose free cheese at either sprouts or fry’s. I personally haven’t found a lactose free cheese I like because of the consistency plus lactose free cheese doesn’t really melt very well. I hope this helps Hannah. I have been lactose free my whole life and I am in my 20’s. Plus I also live in Arizona.

My momma made me a homemade cookbook for my birthday a few yrs back before she passed away and she wrote a note to me in it. I keep it in a special box but I use it. But that special box is in my nightstand in case of an emergency I know where it is and can grab it. It's one of my most prize possessions. I love it and miss her so much. I was adopted at 3 weeks old. That cheez it chicken looks amazing, can't wait to make it. Thanks for sharing!

Former first grade teacher here. I used to have each child share something they learned that day/something good that happened as their "ticket" for leaving the classroom. The back reason for this was in hopes they would be able to share when asked, "What did you learn/do in school today?" The best answer I ever got was, "I learned about prison marks." We had covered tally marks in math that day! I thought this answer was too cute so I didn't correct the terminology ... and then I got a note from that parent the next day wondering what had been taught! 😁

With tenderizing chicken when I was in culinary school we had to butterfly the chicken breast and then we'd take a cutting board lay down plastic wrap put a tiny bit of water then a bit more water on the chicken another piece of plastic wrap and pound it with the tenderizer on the spiked side. Butterflying the chicken before tenderizing will help it not take so long

If you want to flatten the chicken faster you can get this tenderizer that is all in one steel handle with a large rectangle end that is flat one one end curved on the other use the flat side with cling film on the edge of the counter so you don’t break the counter. Not sure what it’s called. Also you could butterfly the chicken first so that it’s faster

I watched many videos on Chinese chicken recipes and I learned how to tenderize chicken breast and even pork and beef, the key ingredient is baking soda. I add a pinch to raw meat in a storage bag with other seasonings and let it sit for about 15 minutes or longer and I sometimes add a marinade sauce and it's the best.

Try instead of making them in balls and putting them in muffin pans. Instead, wrap them up like u do with cheese then after apply the cheese it's put them in casserole dishes. Covering the dishes while baking helps keeping them from drying out in the casserole dishes. Try for maybe 20 to 40 minutes. Covering them through may make the cheese it soft so maybe keep in eye on the dishes and cover them if they start looking dry :)

That meal looks good. Id have to sub out the cheese it's to the dairy free kind cuz I'm lactose intolerant but we use lactose free milk for everything in my house. Even cooking. No one can ever tell the difference. We also use lactose free cheese as well. There's so many options now! Lactaid has lactose free ice creams in a few flavors that are delicious and Ben & Jerry's has quite a few dairy free flavors too that are yummy.
