Being a Classic Who fan, I still have in my mind that the Master should have dark hair & a neatly trimmed beard, by sauve as all get out & completely ruthless. But I love the idea of Derek Jacobi as the master. And the few minutes we get to see him as the Master, after Professor Yana remembers who he really is, didn't disappoint. So I really want to listen to the War Master.

For the theme I like it, but I hate the drums as a plot device because they literally were never a thing as far as every other Master was concerned. Because if the Master was mad, or went mad, he would never have been made a timelord

It reminds me of an updated version of the Daleks' theme from 'Evil of the Daleks' "Who are you..!? Who are you..!?" scene, makes me wonder now, do Daleks have the same number of heartbeats as a Timelords?

No they don’t, Daleks are Kaled mutants and Kaleds only had the one heart which is why the Doctor’s biology was considered alien to them

Not as of now. Judging by his appearance in the Gallifrey audios this incarnation existed during the early days of the war (although it is a show about time travel so he could meet him at some point). So far he’s only met the eighth doctor in his travels
