Tiny torpedo is a great lure. And if you like fishing creeks near sundown try a black Jitterbug...or black Hula Popper. Those old lures still work.

The sounds of the birds and other life all around you, and the beauty of that lake were incredible! It's time for a 4k camera! ...I sure miss catching big bass like you caught in this video. Those carp were pretty epic also. I love my ultra lite and catching bluegill and crappie on lite tackle, but, I still would love to catch some nice bass again. Maybe I'll find a good pond soon. Great video. Hope you get another chance to do that before the Cicada bite is over! Blessings!

A bit of wind going on there ! Those bass were really nice ! No cicadas in S.E Kentucky, but REAL plentiful in North Georgia, where my daughter lives. I've never caught carp on a lure before, catfish yes, but never carp. That looked like a lot of fun. Always love seeing the WORD at the end. Pap Blevins

I caught a 60+ pound buffalo when I was fishing in Missouri, last September! And I’ve got the photo of me after an hour long fight , holding this big ol fish , and we’re both covered in blood and I’m all cut up from falling during the fight, soaked and covered in fish slime 😂

Great video, I had a spot close to the house when I was in high school, I'd go down and catch sunfish and small catfish all day long, my mom didn't really believe me when I told her I'd probably catch a hundred fish, but one day her friend asked us to go out fishing, so she could show me how it was done... We fished off a fishing dock. I got into a school of white bass. And couldn't keep my line in fast enough. My mom's friend got skunked, never took me out again. Made a believer out of my mom. I do that alot, but these days if there are kids about, with parents permission, I always give them my pole and let them catch the fish. To me, that's more fun than catching them myself

Most Americans have no idea how popular carp fishing is in the rest of the world! We also have one of the best carp reservoirs here in TN at Dale Holow.
