I love Elf but I hate that their new products are the same price as all the other drugstore brands. $9 lipsticks and $14 eyeshadow palettes. I remember when they were $1 and they were pretty good!

I just put in a pretty big AOA order a few days ago! I've tried a couple of their products before but I wanted to try more since I have to go back to the office (3 days a week) starting next week (boooo). I grabbed some foundations, concealer and cream bronzer and blush, and some of their primer and setting sprays. Can't wait to see how it all performs! Love the final look in this video, that lip color is GORGEOUS!!!

I have to admit that I have not tried too many of their makeup products. I have the mixing medium. I like their brushes. Especially the kabuki brushes.

My order came in, including the brow gels, so I thought I'd review them for you. 😊 AOA Waterproof Eye Brow Gel $1 Taupe Comes in a tube with a very tiny nozzle that you use to deposit the brow gel onto a brush or spoolie. The formula is light and not at all stiff. It's hard to keep it off of your skin and on only your eyebrow hair. It has a light-medium hold - nowhere near strong enough for my unruly eyebrows. It is waterproof, as advertised. Taupe is supposed to be for blondes, but it's way too dark. It was dark brown on me. Good coverage, though. AOA Easy Brow Gel $1.55 Taupe Comes in a mascara-type tube with spoolie brush. It's the same as the other gel in all aspects except it isn't quite as dark. It's still too dark for me - I'd say it comes out as a medium brown. The only real difference is the packaging. This one isn't billed as being waterproof but it is. They're both vegan. I would have ordered their brow soap, but it only comes in a dark brown & clear.

I will definitely be getting that eyeliner. The packaging of it is very much my aesthetic too! I have very dry skin and I have never been able to make a stick foundation work. I have 2 AOA powders that are so good! They are soft and finely milled and set things beautifully. Idk what was up with that powder you used! Good to know! 😂

So apparently this powder replaced the old one, and a LOT of people are experiencing the white cast which makes it AWFUL for baking let alone the whole face. Ughhh I hope they bring back the old formula because you're right, so finely milled and smooth!!

I loved that stick foundation...before starting tretinoin lol. Now Missha bb cream is my jam. Nothing I hate more than makeup gripping to dry areas I don't even know are there. I love Shopmissa. They have some amazing products. Thanks for reviewing.

ShopMissa has eyeshadow brushes and they're very good! I have several that are at least 3 yrs old and with constant washing, they're still in perfect shape.

I actually really enjoy the ShopMissA brushes as well, I have one of their pink handle sets that came with a travel case that are really nice. However, I also use a lot of Sigma because the quality can last 5+ years and they also have a warranty. I do have a discount code for them too to make them a bit more affordable: SlashedBeauty.

Can you say anything more about the blush formula? Is it smooth, creamy, etc? You said the color is nice but I want to know of the quality before I buy them :) I'm so glad you do these AOA videos bc I don't see anyone else do them and they are a very hit and miss brand. Thanks!

It was pretty smooth, not too powdery but def not creamy. I've been looking for more matte blushes as I've been a little overrun with glowy/shimmery ones lately. TBH I'd say it's a "good powder blush" and I loved the color. It lasted pretty well too!

FYI I looked on the site and they seem to have the matte translucent Perfect Setting powder back??? That’s the only one I saw though besides the pressed translucent powder as well. I have several backups so I won’t get any to leave to anyone else who needs it! ☺️I ordered the new CC Cream to try but I’m bummed the highlight is glittery. I got the new one from Charlotte Tilbury but have been sort of underwhelmed with it. I am still happiest with my highlighter from I Heart Revolution Bronze & Glow palette (go figure). It’s just super buttery smooth and beaming. ❤ I can’t find it anymore though. I’m hoping the new blush and highlight duos from Relove by Revolution ($3@Walmart) is a close formula match.🤷🏻‍♀️ I haven’t tried it yet but plan to. I hate when companies discontinue our faves! 😏I hate it even more when I waste $48 on a highlighter! 😡

I personally don't shop SheIn/SheGlam right now because I'm not confident in their business practices and quality (with the lead found on their clothes) but as far as ShopMissA, their Paw Paw blenders are elite and way better than beautyblenders, their faux mink lashes are incredible, the Powlighters, Perfect Bronzing Powders, The A+ Super Lash Glue, and their brow gel is more like a pomade that lasts really well.

Dude... Who "bakes" with that massive amount of translucent powder? Swirl your brush in it, then tap off the excess amount.

There's setting, and there's baking. It sounds like you're describing setting? Baking is applying excess to sit, then brushing off the excess. Also helps if you're doing your eyes while it's on the face because it will catch fallout and you can brush away glitter/pigment.
