We don't always need to chase trends and clutter our shelves with the newest thing when we've got great products that work fantastically and would serve us well if we really gave them the chance. I LOVE THIS!!!!! 🙌 I wish more creators did this!!! It’s always new, new, new! And they rave about products that we just never see again. And it’s easy to consider creators are getting so much stuff and trying so much stuff that it’s hard to go back and use old things. But, in my opinion, if you truly love something that you were raving about, it didn’t just get tossed to the side and you’d continue using it, between trying new things. If you tried it a few times to test it out and then it got tossed aside to try newer stuff, I don’t think they loved it all that much then 🤷‍♀️ So I like hearing what they still use and enjoy! ❤

Absolutely! back in the early years of beauty youtube, you'd see people doing 5+ tutorials with the same palette. It was even more convincing to invest in something seeing how many ways it could be used! I appreciate you watching and commenting!

Girl, you are speaking my language. Its great to put NEW products out, but so much of it continues to roll out that basically EVERYTHING is NEW. We can't even begin to enjoy whatever came out at the beginning of this year or last year. So I love that you and so many others are jumping on this wagon because we truly need to appreciate what already exists and has existed for awhile now to save some $$$$. This is why we're in debt or simply broke. We need to go back to penny pinching.

As for cleaning the spoolie with the brow gel, I found when using a jar like that, if I just quickly rinse the spoolie off when I’m done and kind of run my fingers through it like I would when cleaning it, it keeps it from getting gunky without needing to full on wash it. Like it takes just a couple seconds to rinse it when I’m done and that made it so much easier for me!

@ you’re welcome! Hope it makes it a little easier for you! I had to laugh when I started doing it because it was so simple but made such a difference! Something about letting the wax and stuff dry on the brush just makes it harder to wash than if I just rinse it off right away. And I’ll take anything that’s a little easier!

Yes! I've also been sick this week... and I'm sick to death of the Sephora Sales videos! (I can't get excited about saving only ~$5 on an order... especially when I can get probably get triple that 10% discount during Black Friday sales in a few weeks!) I love videos where content creators show the products they've continued to use because, guess what, I'm continuing to use the products I purchased months - years? - ago as well! ♡

Agreed!!! It’s always been weird to me that Sephora does the sale so close to Black Friday. Like why? Why not do it earlier or later? Even impatient people can usually still be willing to wait until Black Friday sales start to make their purchases instead of the Sephora sale 🤷‍♀️ I mean, you gotta be pretty dang inpatient to not be willing to wait. Unless you just don’t care about money 😂

​@slashedbeauty I went back and finished watching your video after taking care of grandkids. I want to comment on tubing mascaras; not a fan. I've tried the Elf and Tarte, and there's a substance in them that my eyes don't like; an allergic response. I'll stick with regular mascaras, which work for me without issue. Also, I want to say I'd like to see a lip stain review. I'm intrigued by the type that peel off but haven't tried them yet. I love the Milani lip stains. They go on smoothly and last all day for me without drying. Thank you Miranda. ❤

Yes! Do a battle of the lip stains. Just before you mentioned that, I was going to comment a question to which lipstain is less drying. I only have one LS and it's the ELF. I love the color but she makes my lips crunchy by days end. So I've hesitated in searching out others.

I'm so happy to see your video! I was hoping you were doing well and I totally agree about the foundation! I bought it during the Ulta sale and it's the only one I wear when I do decide to wear a foundation. I've worn it to work and it lasted me all day and I work at a fast food restaurant LOL but I had the exact same complaints that you do about the doe foot on this bottle. It is very difficult to get out and I feel like it doesn't bring a whole lot of product with it either. But I love the foundation itself it's absolutely beautiful. Thank you for your time and your review I'm so glad to see a video that's not about the sale actually. I do like watching those videos but this one was such a good Refresher and an amazing review! As for the elf brow gel I love the formula so much that I am happy to deal with the brush situation but I saw Mandy Lea on YT use it with her fingers and swipe it across her brows like a brow wax, brush them out then add product on the brows for color. Maybe that can help with the brush cleaning situation as well. I tend to just keep a damp microfiber face cloth near me while I do my makeup and wipe my brushes off as I go so a spot clean each time I use them (I do this with my eye and face brushes as well). Not sure if this is groundbreaking but it sure helps me! 😊

With a lot of the products with the sponge applicators, you can actually remove the sponge. Not sure if it is possible with the Physicians Formula product, but may be worth a try.

You should try curling your lashes once your mascara is on. They would likely stay a bit more curled that way

Don’t apply mascara to your roots! After you curl them just apply it from the mid length up. Your curl will stay with any mascara this way. I feel I need to shout it from the mountain tops haha

@slashedbeauty I have dry skin and I'm 53 so I guess I'd be considered mature skin as well. After I gave it away I did find a drugstore foundation that I absolutely love!! It's the CoverGirl Clean Invisible Foundation. It's beautiful and I think I paid $6.88 for it!!
