I absolutely LOVE! your videos! You always explain everything so well, and all of your crafts are just amazing!! When I was about 5, I first learned to crochet, and then about 5 years later, I grew out of it and slowed down on being as excited as I was and crocheting all together. Now, I am back into crocheting, and love it even more all because I found your channel! Don't stop making videos because you inspire people to get out there with a hook and some yarn and make something beautiful! Thank you so much for being an awesome teacher, crocheter, and an awesome person!

I learnt crochet in lockdown. The first item I made was a scarf on Jayda in stitches. So easy to follow. I made the small heart in dusky pink with UK crochet hook 5.5 and UK Chunky Wool. I LOVE it ! I intend to try the big version too if I can find the right wool. Thank you, love your videos.

Thank you Jayda for this, my 7yr old granddaughter fell at daycare and broke both her arms (2 bones in each arm) I crocheted 2 of these to rest her arms on. These are really comfortable to rest her arms on

ohmygoodness! Jonsie, I hope she's ok, what an awful thing to happen. Your poor sweetheart!! This definitely makes a soft and comfortable pillow, I use my heart pillow as both a back rest (when I'm working) and an arm rest when I'm just scrolling through my phone or playing video games (I need to give my wrists a break, I have RA :)

Hi Loving the heart cushion, I would like to make a bigger one like the white one that you have. I am using the bulky very soft bernat yarn but it doesn't seem to get any wider. What am I doing wrong? I have added 2 hdc on both ends of the cushion but it is not getting wider. Please help. Many thanks for your tutorial and sharing your beautiful work.
@JaydaInStitches6 жыл бұрын
Hi Tara, you might want to upsize your hook, that will help if your tension is a bit tight (which might be part of the issue). You can also try holding 2 strands together if you feel it's just not thick enough and that will definitely upsize your pillow :)

Can I use 2 strands of yarn at once of 4 ply worsted weight yarn instead of the bernat baby yarn? ❤️ the pattern btw!
@JaydaInStitches6 жыл бұрын
Hi! I find that 2 strands of medium size 4 yarn held together is a good approximate of the typical bulky weight yarn (like this blanket yarn), so definitely!

Hi Serenity, we use the same crochet pattern but change the yarn weight and hook size to upsize it :) You will need about 400 grams of super bulky weight yarn for the Heart.
