Jada I have to thank you so much for your wonderful tutorials! I've become very popular in my family with the creations I've done with your help! I love your videos cause you seem so excited about creating your project and even more excited to share them with us, thank you so much! I've seen a few others suggest a moon, I would love that too. Most of your amigurumi I make I use as visuals for nursery rhythm I sing to my grandbabies. This one is for "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star". (I made the smaller one). Sorry for being long winded

Hi Jayda, I love this adorable star pillow. I made mine in a gorgeous cream chenille yarn by Bernat and I love it!!! Stars symbolize divine protection, magic, and happiness. My favorite quote I made was "Without the dark, you can't see the stars". This means a lot to me because I have suffered with major depression for a few years because of my personal traumas and all the suffering in the world. I have lost a lot of hope but one day at a time. Thank you so much for making all of us happy and I pray for you and your loved ones health and happiness. I love my star pillow, thank you!!! I hope you have an amazing, beautiful Memorial Day weekend and I can't wait to see you Friday!!! Love and Light- Lily Rose 🤩🤩🤩🤗🤗🤗

Jayda InStitches I've made 3 blankets with this yarn and am currently working on my fourth. 3 are a v stitch and the current one is a square that just keeps getting bigger with each round. I'm making it for my king size bed. I am searching for a square pillow pattern to match the other smaller throws for my loveseat and couch. So if you feel like coming up with something I'm all ears! 😀

Love your star!! Thank you for posting! We just added great-grand baby #4 to the family!! Since we are so close to Christmas it got me thinking about making each of our grandchildren their own personalized star with the words “A star is born” and the year of their birth; either cross stitched on or adding some kind of hanging tag? I’m considering how to tackle this project. My problem is……I haven’t crocheted in over 50 yrs! :/ I would love to see you do a video on this idea ⭐️ Thanks again!
@JaydaInStitches Жыл бұрын
Hi Norma! Congratulations! I love that idea of yours, what a sweet gift idea! You could easily make them each one of these star pillows (it's an easy enough crochet project to get back into the swing of things with - and you can use super bulky weight yarn of any kind, not just blanket yarn like we used here) and you could add a little hanging tag with some embroidery on it...we even have a tag tutorial here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pHaQk6OVg7tpjdU

It looks like when you are crocheting the star "arms" you are only going through the back loops - is that correct? The first row is through both loops of the circular foundation, but subsequent rows of half double crochet are only through the back loop?

Is there a way to just do a slip knot to start this project I don't get the other knot I've tried multiple times, but it just isn't working and holding to continue making this. 😢

Hi Jessica, you might find our mini tutorial on making a cinch circle helpful for this project :) It takes a little getting use to, but don't fret, once you have it going, you'll love it! You'll find our tutorial here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hmmaeKN6haqrqbc

Oh my gosh !!!!!!!!!! Is there anyway I can do this pattern with a smaller hook and same yarn ??? I dont have much fluffy yarn !
@JaydaInStitches5 жыл бұрын
You can use a smaller hook (like a 4.50 mm or a 5.00 mm) and size 4 yarn and it will be a smaller star :)
