Beesneez Elizabeth which he doesn't make any more. Funny the mic actually slipped down by the time we did this song and I didn't realise but it still sounds fine. I'm thinking it's a little like the Phelicity but you'd have to ask Ben.

Thanks Michael for your advice. I'm probably going to start with a pair of small diaphragm condensers for acoustic guitar, and get a large diaphragm when I can afford one. Your results with the large condensers are very appealing. Beesneez has the Lulu FET, but don't know or can find anyone who has tried them. My only benchmark for comparision is the KM184.

Yes small condensers are great too I sometimes use 2 KM69s in XY or use one but double track left and right with same or similar parts. Lulu Fets should be great. Similar to KM84s not as bright as KM184s which is a good thing.

Michael Ingavason & James McDonald You are singing in your own voice which is a very gifted voice, I like Gillian Welch's voice but its not her own it's an affected attempt at that Appalachian accent and its noticeable as not herself, OK but it irritates me she is not all that "down home" it's that hippie imaginary crap that I can't stomach, however she has good music skills, oh Gray this wasn't about her pardon me Mr. McDonald but your interpretation is the best😯CIAO. Could you tell me what chords & capoed fret you have here camera angl doesn't help much for that look like tonic is Cmaj. so F& G would follow.
