theory: since its a prequel and grampa is very prominent in the book, what if it also dives into HIS backstory?? because as we know, we only know petey's side. what about grampa's? what reasoning did he have for leaving both his son and his possible girlfriend? does he feel any remorse for these actions? would he have changed the past? as the trailer says 'how do past events affect the future?' and it shows disco grampa, i think - without a doubt - that this is about HIM. his past actions affected the future. he was one of the many reasons why petey turned evil and then went back to it after unsuccessfully trying to get a second chance. he practically indirectly caused the existence of dogman (no not greg and officer knight i just mean like the hybrid of human and dog), bionic flippy, 80-HD, lil petey - and many more characters that werent confirmed to be in the past. his past choices had led to so many things; and if he hadn't done them, then none of this would have happened. grampa's past is probably very crucial. maybe petey's matters, sure. maybe big jim's matters. maybe dogman's matters. but i feel like if we get even the smallest dive into his past, then itll reveal so much about him and strip him of his facade. but thats just a theory! 😁
