FIrst guy I've seen that mentioned forward and backward pressure on the grip versus palm squeeze. Thank you.

On the dominant side yes. On the support side it’s side to side for me.

Yoooo this is like gold information. Lots of videos on grip but the way you explain the strong hand is missing in pretty much all the videos. Real good stuff ! Helping me get a more consistent grip

Man I saw one of your videos and you basically explained why my shots drift to the left so clearly, I'll be an idiot not to correct it the way you explained it. Thanks sooo much! Can't wait for my next range day and try out the things I learned from your videos. =)

I like to go high and tight, with pressure from my dominant mimicking a firm handshake. My support hand I wanna try to apply a vice grip pressure as if I’m meeting my daughter’s boyfriend for the first time lol.

Don't become too caught up on grip. If you watch the Olympics you will see a very different grip used well. Watch a bullseye match, and you will see another grip (several actually) used very well. What is rarely taught anymore is consistency. If your grip is a bit different from the shooters on your left and right, but you are 100% consistent, you will still do well.
@myowndryfire11 ай бұрын
I disagree wholeheartedly. If speed is a factor, the grip I discuss here is what we see working well. Bullseye shooting is not speed shooting. Whether for sport or dynamic encounters we need to be able to control our accuracy at speed

@@myowndryfire So what I read you saying is that different situations and shooters might need various grips to achieve the goal.
