Couple updates: The heart is immoveable, and the pale trees do NOT generate any hearts when grown from saplings. You can only get hearts from the biome! What do you think about THE CREAKING! It was really fun to play with in survival! :D The added bonus of other hostile mobs can make it a challenge to deal with lol Subscribe!

I think its alright. As of now it feels like a dumbed down version of the warden and although it would be very hard to code i think it would be way more creepy if it jumped from tree to tree. I also saw someone suggest they add fireflies to the biome to blend the creaking's eyes to make it less obvious.

To answer your question, I'm guessing they made the ones that come from spawn eggs different because there's no heart tied to them, so they'd be impossible to kill otherwise.

Some addl info about the creaking: a creaking spawned from a spawn egg is not tied to a heart and therefore dies to any damage. Where a creaking spawned from a heart cannot be damaged. If you unpower the heart, the heart remains powered and the creaking remains, but if you attack the creaking it will die.

​​@@dominicormiston2755 They specifically said that the pale hanging moss was made so they could be _inspired by_ weeping willow trees, without them actually _being_ that kind of tree. And anyways, if we can have Birch, small Oak, and small Jungle trees all resemble each other without problem, then Pale _Oak_ resembling Dark _Oak_ shouldn't be a problem, either.

Something I don't see a lot of people talking about. The Pale Garden is very quiet besides the creaks and ambient sounds. We should get more ambient sounds in game in other biomes, to feel the huge difference when we step into the pale garden.

One thing on the sidenote: with the newest bedrock update, mojang reintroduced a bug which makes ur enchanted armor invisible/have no texture in worlds which were transfered from a different device 😢😢😢

So it takes 4 sapling and a small tree is formed... It will be quite difficult to farm after taking it back home (If I find the biome first)

@@silentwisperer Yeah I know, I really like Dark oak but sometimes you just slowly lose saplings over time and I hate it, seeing the same happening with Pale oak (Another amazing wood) is quite sad for me. While Cherry gets you so many saplings. I got 1 stack and some more saplings from just 3-4 cherry trees. What is wrong with cherry sapling drop rate? Every tree consistently gives me 10-20 saplings. I know they have a lot of leaves but it is just too much!

While its a variation of darkoak forest i still hope they would change the tree structure a little,like making it a little taller or something.Also i think a fog/dust texture for either the night or both day and night would be great They probably would add buff to creaking but i think they should also give it a damage buff for armour i.e: Creaking will do more damage to armour and therefore your armour will break off easily

For an update coming in 2 months, the size is fine, it just needs polish (I'd suggest better shading for the biome since from afar it looks bad, fog would help too :D

I'm honestly tired of new overworld biomes every update, I always have to go thousands of blocks in a random direction and end op adding 200mb of data to my save. If they wanna keep adding more biomes, they should first add an in-game tool that allows us to trim down chunks in our world that we never use. Also when are we gonna get trees with orange or gold leaves for some autumn vibes? I feel like this was a missed opportunity for this update

With regular moss you can grow trees on it... Can you do the same with the pale moss? Are we able to bonemeal the pale moss carpets to obtain more moss blocks? Will an explosive (creeper/tnt) or lava destroy the creaking heart?

I hope they decide to add a new structure in the Pale Garden to give us more reasons to explore it beyond just collecting the new woodset (which looks amazing), 16 pale saplings, and the Creaking Heart. While the Creaking Heart is going to be fun to prank your friends with your own personal Weeping Angel, after that, there isn’t any reason to return to the Pale Forest, unless you're after more Creaking Hearts (which, in my opinion, should be renewable but I can see why, they decided to not make it renewable). A new structure they could add in the Pale Garden is a Greenhouse, which would fit perfectly in the Pale Garden. After all, it's called a "garden," and greenhouses are a common feature in gardens. Also, the biome is called a garden but it has little to no vegetation besides the Pale Moss. So maybe the new vegetation they add are, White Pumpkins (which could maybe have an achievement for wearing a Carved White Pumpkin called The White Pumpkin), Glowshrooms (from Minecraft Dungeons), and maybe a new pale flower to fit the biome's theme. Also, they should buff the Creakings’ damage, since it's damage is pretty disappointing like 1 heart of damage is pretty much nothing with Iron, Diamond, or Netherite Armour equipped, maybe it should be 2.5 hearts of damage while ignoring armour, so the Creakings become more of a threat in both early & late game.

@drewprice9284 What exactly is the theme for the Pale Garden? Eerie, empty, and the feeling of being watched, right? If so, why not an abandoned Greenhouse (I should've stated it was an abandoned) that was built by the Ancient Builders. But I do see your point. The word garden is used as an archaic way in this biome (it doesn't show it tbh, it feels too empty to be a garden, more than anything it's a forest).

I don't feel like the pale garden should generate right by the dark oak biome. There's something visually too jarring about the dullest biome in the game right next to the brightest. The colors imply they should be in a colder environment like by snow or taiga.

The creaking heart should spawn a "Wood Golem" that shoots arrows (like legends one) when placed in a special wood pattern. This would open the possibility to spawn an obsidian golem that eats items and de-craft them in its poop. Who knows... but the pale garden forest should have a reason to go back

I wish they woruld attack other mobs when attacked by them instead solely attacking players, Since they can't jump, I was hoping to create a two block deep "moat" of these guys and let the hostile mobs climb in and get offed by the Creakers, and then have some allays pick up the drops. But unless it gets changed (kind of like how the Warden was originally an Undead mob and didn't attack other undead mobs) I'm not going to have much use of it.

I wish the creaking has a different shapes and sizes it would make sense to reuse the prototype models of a warden,it would also make sense if they add pale lush cave as a variant for lush caves. In which Pale Lush Cave would generate in the same chunk on The Pale Gardens which makes it unique is inside the cave a new type of berry possibly for new potion recipe, it would also be a new giant glowing mushroom and glowing mushroom item?

i hope they add some reason to actually come to this new biome other than just the new decorative blocks. the creaking should do more damage and there should be a stricture with a unique reward to incentivize going there. i dont see the point of adding a such a cool and unique hostile mob to guard decorative variants of blocks that are in the game.

So essentially they literally just desaturated the dark oak forest and moss, the carpet creeping up the wall is cool but there's really nothing impressive with it. If the white wood could be stained with dye it would be cool but it's just underwhelming.

Same as any other mob presumably, ie It goes after the first player it sees, Or if it looses that one for long enough it goes for the next one it sees..
