That is sooo amazing! You don’t have to apologize for anything, this is about you and your choice to have a baby, and people should understand it’s an individual decision. This is a blessing, and after what you’ve been through you deserve to just enjoy every part of your pregnancy. I had a really high risk pregnancy, they told me I couldn’t get pregnant because of my medical situation, and when I got pregnant everyone freaked out. I now have my 11 year old miracle! My birthday is December 20!! I’m so happy for you guys!

Hi Samantha! First I just would like to say I too am a breast cancer survivor. I had a lumpectomy and radiation. You were the first person I started to follow after I found the news out in Oct. of 2020. Your videos helped me to understand what I might go through, so thank you for that. I'm doing well, and just had another mammogram, which turned out to be clear! I'm so happy about you're pregnancy. You'll be a fabulous mother, and Gray is awesome so of course he'll be a wonderful dad! Keep your fans in the know!!!

Congratulations!!! I had two babies post ER+/PR+ BC who are now 19 and 14 years old…. My oncologist and OBGYN were both on board. My oncologist also said that pregnancy has NOT been shown to increase the risk of recurrence, and that ever happened would happen regardless of the pregnancy. I did have a second diagnosis in 2019, but I was a new cancer, not a recurrence. Well worth the risk ❤️

Hi. How many years after chemo did You get pregnant ( was îs naturally or with frozen eggs before chemo)? Did You have chemo including cyclphosphamide radiațion tamoxifen zoladex? I m also trying some years after treatment but they said my eggs might not ne that good. I m 35 now.

@@maryn1160 sorry, just saw this. I had both babies between my first and second diagnosis. My first diagnosis was stage 1B, I had a lumpectomy, axillary node dissection (15 nodes removed), radiation, and tamoxifen. This was in 1999, i was 27. They didn’t consider fertility back then and were not sure the best route for us “young patients”. I stopped Tamoxifen after 2.5 years to get pregnant because it was causing me to grow multiple large cysts on my ovaries and I was worried about fertility. I was diagnosed a second time with BC in 2019, new primary stage 2A. This time my Oncotype supported chemo, so I had a double mastectomy, chemo (Taxotere and Cytoxan), sentinel node biopsies, Zoladex + Tamoxifen, and currently just letrozole (I’m now in chemo/age induced menopause

Hi Samantha, I have watched your later videos and just came across these older ones about your pregnancy. First of all, wanted to say how interesting your content is, and you come across as so intelligent and thoughtful. I don't know anyone else having a baby during a cancer "journey" and no doubt you have received some negative feedback. (I didn't understand why you say people mention you killing people by doing this?!) You are obviously a great mother, with a good marriage, and your daughter will always have these videos to tell your story. Wishing you the very best. Remember to take care of you first and then your audience. I am rooting for you. IVF is a miracle and conceiving natural is even a bigger one, especially with a stage IV diagnoses to start with. I believe this miracle was given to you by God for teaching others about cancer. No one can walk in your shoes but you! People do not realize what an emotional rollercoaster IVF is and the many decisions couples have to make. Stay true to your heart that you are always making the right decisions. You are special!!!!

Congratulations to you both. You shouldnt even have to explain yourself for having a baby. You are living your best life moving to another city and adding to your family. You look so healthy and having a little one will give you another focus away from cancer which is a good thing. No one knows what tomorrow brings so people shouldn't be negative. Breast cancer treatments have come along way and Im sure you will have a long and happy life. I know someone who got diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer 15 years ago which had spread to her bones and she is still here and living life to the fullest. She got a poor prognosis and she's proved doctors wrong. They are not always right. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy. You will both make great parents.
