My daughter also struggles with anxiety and depression, and going through the ivf journey was quite rough on her. All the hormonal changes and medication side effects naturally affect your emotional equilibrium. Also, the waiting, hoping, disappointments and worries can really consume you. But they are now the parents of my beautiful nine year old granddaughter😊. That makes everything they went through worth it!! One day you will look back on this as a difficult journey to a beautiful destination.

Hugs, I struggled with infertility as well, many years ago. It is so hard!! After 8 years I finally had my daughter. She was a premie, but it did happen! She is fine she's 30 this year. Prayers and there is hope.❤

Sometimes the anxiety makes the process harder. As a doula I try to relax my mothers and planning-to-be mothers as much as possible. Usually recommend combination relaxation and deep-tissue massage, especially in the piriformis, iliacus, and psoas muscle groups, flexors and extensors as well, as these are all areas that hold tension and stress. Flax oil and oats are great for regulating hormones and digestion, methylated B complex and vitamin C for mood, energy, and iron absorption. None of these things are magic. They won't get you pregnant. But they are fantastic for relieving stress and tension, and that can't hurt the process! P.S. Your baby will be beautiful! (I prefer to be positive!)

Hi Sean I was listening to your update about your IVF situation and I am a perinatal nurse which means that I specialise in problems with people that are pregnant or just recently given birth and I was thinking it would perhaps help given that Stacey suffers from depression and anxiety that she might find it useful to refer herself through the GP to the local perinatal team where are you live for some support which might help how current situation. Usually the situations are referred through the GP and it's very important that you state that you specifically want to talk to somebody from the perinatal team and either arrange for psychology or is a psychiatrist. You don't have anything to lose but it's entirely up to you what you think

Hi Sean and Stacey, l know everyone’s journey is different. But, I have two relatives who decided to try IVF and even though their journeys were long with several disappointments, in the end they both have beautiful families now. We also just found out that, even though doctors told one of them they could not ever conceive naturally, they DID, and will be welcoming a baby girl soon to their IVF twin boys! No one knows where anyone’s future journey will take them, but I am wishing you both the best. Thank you for welcoming us into your beautiful world. Stacy & Sean, I dealt with infertility myself for many years. I had a hard time conceiving and then had 3 miscarriages; two in the second trimester. We decided to adopt and waited what seemed forever and we adopted a precious newborn baby girl. We took her home from the hospital and 11 months later I got pregnant. I was able to carry our second daughter for 7 months and she only weighed 2 lbs but she did very well. They are now 30 & 29 years old with their own children. I just wanted to share because sometimes you feel like you are the only one who is going through this. Love to you both

Our IVF journey was 6 years long. I pray it doesn’t go that long for you. The meds you are on certainly don’t help with the anxiety. One thing that really helped me was finding an online community of other women going through the same journey. I learned so much and it was a great support system. Also, I started acupuncture. I was skeptical at first but I made a big difference. I had losses along the way joy as well. my boys are now 18 and 20. Looking back, my IVF journey change me and my life. I found strength and resilience I never knew I had. I am wishing all the best for both of you on your journey.

Totally feel your frustration with IFV. I'm in the same boat with my wife and we were also hoping to start the treatment before Xmas, then the NHS told us it will most likely be end of January, it's a very long process and I hope everything works out for all of us. We are already saving for potential future treatments, or going private due to the large waiting times. It's so much more common that I ever imagined.

As I've said before, Kate and I like to hang back and observe what's going on. Introverts, we are. Thank you for sharing your plan for your Hebridean herd. Get ready, Echo. Dad is going to step up the pace for your training sessions. After all, in just three more months, you'll be turning 3 years old! It's hard to believe I've been following you and the family for three years now. Stacey, I'm glad you were able to share more about yours and Sean's IVF journey. I hope the next step can be done within the next few weeks. You've already waited so long. Whatever happens, I hope you'll have peace and acceptance. As I suggested on your IG page, working jigsaw puzzles is a good distraction and a way to focus your mind in the present moment. I love working puzzles and, in fact, have ordered a board with a turntable from Amazon, of course, to be able to turn the puzzle from side to side without having to get up and move around. Wintertime is a good time for working puzzles. Sean, I'm so glad you were able to make this video before you hurt your head. I know whatever made contact with your head to leave that wound must have shook you out of your shoes. It made me think of the videos you've done where you "pretend" to fall down and wait to see what the pups' reactions will be. You just did one with Echo coming right to you and lying down close to you. I hope one of the pups was with you when you had your accident. I felt so bad for you, and I know that must have been a frightening thing for Stacey. I hope your head heals quickly without any residual side effects. I just noticed this account has 276k subscribers now. That's wonderful! You do such a wonderful job with your videos here and on TT. I hope you and Stacey have a good Thanksgiving. Stacy, it takes real courage and faith to be on the IVF journey. You too Sean! 😊 I had IVF at 41, 26 years ago when it was newer. I'm sure the procedures are better now. And had a healthy daughter, my joy, after 2 years of other treatment. I'm sure you have doubts, we all do/ did, and it's much harder with depression. Don't forget things do work out sometimes! I had anxiety but I used CBT to get through it and stay off medication. Medication can make things worse. It's stinking thinking, if that makes any sense. Ironically I was thinking how happy you both must be to be living in such a beautiful location with all these wonderful animals. Get outside more Stacy, breath the air and thank God for all your riches, get out of your head. I love your videos, I love the dogs.

I have a herding Border Collie and he would be envious of your Dogs in Scotland. Instead of being in the Highlands we are in the High Desert of So. California. He likes the cool winters we have but the summers are tough. He is a rough coat full of energy and he would rather be chasing sheep instead of Frisbees. He is the most intelligent dog I have ever owned, I am truly amazed at times...!

Just take it easy, acknowledge your whole body is affected and be kind to yourself! Lean on Sean when you need to talk or cry. Fun to watch the pups with their new toys, they are enjoying a day off almost as much as they enjoy working---almost! Stacey, as a Vintage Lady, I can sympathize with the menopause symptoms---hot flashes are the worst, I would just want to go stick my head into the freezer. I'm sorry there's been so much run-around & delay for your IVF, very frustrating, I think anyone would be anxious & depressed & it's extra difficult when you already struggle with those feelings. But in the end, it will all have been worth it! My thoughts are with you!

Hi, Stacey! There is nothing I can say to make you feel better ( wish I could!). Same happened to me when I got married. The hormonal side effects were brutal. We had no holiday guests that year (no pressure or anxiety), "we" became pregnant. Lesson was that I needed to occupy my mind with my hands thru art, sewing, etc (i am anxiety class 101😂). Our kids are now 17 and 16. They will soon leave us, but my anxiety will stay so I took up crochet to put my mind to work. Your moth hobby is neat and I enjoyed seeing them. If you could take one thing from this lady's comments, know that keeping hands busy can help a great deal with what you say to yourself on a daily basis. Do not beat yourself up over not having a child right now. We women can be our worst critics, you know. Go easy on yourselves (especially you, Stacey) by embracing the lovely family you have at the moment. Be good to yourselves. I'm going through a health challenge and it seems like the healthcare team isn't in any kind of hurry to get me seen or treated. My cousin and her husband went through IVF for awhile, and in April 2022, she gave birth to a large, healthy son who is the joy of their lives. There are no guarantees of what will happen to any would-be parents, but I wish you the best (and quickest) results. God bless. 😘
