Thank you for picking up the fly rod. After that first fish, seeing them bust on top, I was yelling at my computer, "Grab the damn fly rod!" LOL!

Rich, congratulations on that big striper, beautiful fish. Your quality footage is really setting your channel aside for me. But, as I've said before, as a Brit I REALLY enjoy your style of vocal presentation, so few 'slang' words which although I understand is perfectly normal in America, for me it's an absolute PLEASURE to listen to you using terms I easily inderstand. I love that boat!!!! Those sharp toothed Bluefish, would a ten inch multi stand soft steel trace affect your bait action too much? If not perhaps you could utilise that to help lure ( various ) losses? Our European bass seldom make it past 20 lb as the fish stocks around the UK's shores are severely deepleted. Ok, across very snaggy reefs and structure ( wrecks ) the fish have some escape from the commercial trawlers and the like. Sadly not so much from the factory ship trawlers that use vacuum pumps to literally suck the fish up from anywhere. The care not for undersea damage to the marine environment.🤬 Only because there's no profits from them loosing their rigs do the net monkeys 'usually' steer ckear of the risky areas. I have just replaced an old Conoflex hollow glass 12' beachcaster with a 16' carbon / kevlar extreme range rod. I'll couple it to my Shimano long spool for some 160 yard + casts ( throws ) to some better marks on some of our beaches. I often visit beaches at very low spring tides to seek the 'features'. I learnt to read beaches a very long time ago, most lead chuckers never do that. Super fresh bait and the ability to cast / throw near 200 yards matter squat if there"s no fish holding zones.😏 I have also worked out a way to 'sneak' fish near a deep water marina that regularly sees 12 to 15 lb grey mullet. I'm looking forward to some sneaky night action.🤫😏😁 Tight lines, and ONE DAY, who knows, I just might be a visiting Brit that would need a talented angler such as yourself as a personal guide. No yak action though, I had my pelvis broke in 4 places in 2018, the pedalling would kill me! I can really rock hope no more either so your Montauk rock hopping for me would be out. Stay safe, always.

I've noticed with flies people rarely catch big ones.. as much as I enjoy fly fishing I like the regular spin fishing more. Can see some chunky ones like that last one. I don't even know how it feels to catch one that big.

Hey bro, just a thought. I think it would be better to tag your “previous video” towards the end of your current video bc while I’m enjoying watching the video, I’d rather continue watching the current one than change it up.
