It's interesting watching someone else do this A's play through. Our 2024 seasons ended up roughly the same (I had 79 wins). The coliseum absolutely supresses offense and that really has been the biggest issue so far. That said I have had some lucky breaks...I started the save trading with the Royals and had Nick Pratto included in the deal. He succeeded in the generate batspeed development program and reached 65 power and 4 stars overall. At the 2024 trade deadline I traded Esteury Ruiz to the Rays for Shane Baz. For whatever reason he was only rated 2.5 overall but had a slight pitch movement bump in the offseason and was rated 4 stars to start 2025. Those 2 lead my team for hitting and pitching and we won the AL west with 92 games in 2025 somehow. The Guardians beat us in the ALDS and went on the beat the Dodgers in the WS.

Oh man, I feel that Nick Ahmed 5 week injury, comes back for a day, then injured again for 5 weeks. Its one of the most frustrating things about this game that i cant believe hasnt been fixed. It happens way too often, even on rehab assignments.
