This is gonna be a nice ride for the Morris bunch! Did Clark's adventure on the flying mile have anything to do with the hefty rear wing support plans? This is gonna be considerably more beefy than some "strutless" pop-rivet to the deck lid thingy... And hell yeah, record Abbot & Costello's Ranger exploits!

Kevin have you ever noticed the location of the chute handle in Alex Taylor’s 55 it’s down beside the shifter ,why is that not a common thing seeing your hand is naturally in that position?
@KSRPerformanceFabrication
@KSRPerformanceFabrication 4 ай бұрын
I feel like having it in the roof is the more natural location, and the movement of throwing the chute puts the steering wheel or switch panel next in line to work with.

@KSRPerformanceFabrication
@KSRPerformanceFabrication 4 ай бұрын
Yeah, I have watched some of her videos. In a couple of them, I have seen her have to feel around for the handle and that's not ideal in my opinion. Also, Val's car will shift itself so she will only need to take her hand off of the wheel to throw the chute and to shut the car down in the shutdown, and both of those will be in the roof.

With the threaded inserts, is there a risk of putting enough heat into them to deform them so they end up out of round ? Just curious!

They are locking jet nuts, so they are already a little out of round. I use just enough heat to melt the flange in to my filler rod and so far the nuts have all been ok! I could definitely slip on the pedal and nuke one of those little nuts if I am not careful....haha
