Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing - any% speedrun in

sorry for getting the run off-stream. I lost time to loads in this run for some reason, so the real time isnt faster. But ingame time time (counting truck driving and menuing) is almost a 2 second improvement to my previous PB. Amazing Small Town Road, little stumble on the menu into Forgotten Road 1, the game unexpected had placed my cursor in the top left intead of over the menu point as usual

How did you get the menu glitch to give free wins?

the first version of the game does this by itself. After beating one race, the game sets the win condition and doesn't seem to differentiate which race you have won, so any race you enter afterwards, you immediately win. This is fixed on the later version of the game that gets used in the 100% category

why do you instantly win the other races

because once you win a race, the game basically saves that information in memory. But it doesnt bother clearing that memory again, or even bothers remembering which race youve won. So any race you enter afterwards, it checks the memory, and there it finds the information that you've won, still leftover from the first race, so it instantly wins you. This was fixed on a later release of the game, that is used in the 100% speedrun
