That was exactly what happend when chapter 2 released Back when there was only chapter 1, there was no way of killing enemies, and since "our choices dont matter" everyone thought it was gonna stay like that But to when the sequel to release, suddenly you can just freeze everyone yo death and get a "secret boss"? My uncle told me you can unlock Yoshi in Deltarune Chapter 3 when it comes out. You have to replay Chapter 1 and 2 and only talk to Toriel and Father Alvin about Yoshi, and *only* them. And then when Chapter 3 comes out, there’s a special scene where the TV changes to Super Smashing Fighters and you have to fight Yoshi in order to unlock him for your party.

I remember the joy of getting a home console with this game for Christmas. I used to play this game hours on end. I recall this other boss in the first chapter. He was this jester guy or something. He was a rumour between the kids, nobody was able to beat him. Me and my old friend managed to beat him together. It was our crowning achievement.

fun fact Sonic cd's soundtrack uses the "big hit" sound effect (exact same one since the big hit is really old and is used semi widely) but that game was in 1993, so it wouldn't work in the "1991 the year of sonics release" aesthetic unless you are able to push to sonics third game. Back in 1991 Big Shot was released, This became a forgotten project in the SNES days. It was forgotten because of how much advanced tech was in the cartridge, then Toby Fox took this idea and turned it into Deltarune a game that we all know today.

In '91, Toby released this: Deltarune, his most accomplished game. I think his undisputed masterpiece is "BIG SHOT", a song so catchy, most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. Now Spamton is freaky and all... but imagine if you were a kid playing some SNES game called "Undertale" on one of those old boxy TVs. "Yeah, the graphics were fairly normal, great story and music though! That goat boss was tough but it looks like the game is over now" Then the neutral run ending twist happens and the game seems to glitch out.
